A newly designed synthetic material kufi hat fashioned after the Moroccan fez. This style is straight on the sides with a gradual peak. This kufi is semi-rigid, has a smooth felt feel to it, is enforced with 2mm foam and has black lining. Currently available in 6 different colors and 5 sizes. Exclusively designed and produced by TheKufi. Handcrafted with care. The sides measure 2.75” (7cm) with a total height of 5” (12.7cm) to the peak. Hamza Yusuf style Moroccan Kufi fes
I have been looking for a Moroccan-style kufi for a while. I couldn't find one. I wanted short fes simply because they look better and are more practical. I love the rich maroon color of Moroccan felt hats. This one is a synthetic fabric and not real felt but still well made. I have a wide forehead and I am wearing size XL. I'd always go for a size bigger kufi because tight kufi can leave bruises on the forehead. I needed this kufi for a theatre play where I played an Islamic theologian. Hamza Yusuf of California.
