Very nice way to keep fruit in the fridge and not have it get soggy!

I love that these are a great size for draining canned beans and things, but mostly that it's a lid, bowl, and colander in one. I actually use these primarily for scallion storage - I use a lot of sliced scallion in my cooking and it's annoying to chop them in bulk and then have to keep replacing the paper towels in whatever container I use. Now, I slice up all my scallions, fill up one of these bowls, and the colander provides enough space from the bowl and drainage that they'll last a pretty long time in the fridge without any paper towel maintenance. I've been using them this way for a long time now, and this is really the only product that I've found that works this perfectly for me. I actually picked this up in a grocery store months back and came to amazon because I wanted more of the same. I throw them in the top rack of the dishwasher and they've never distorted on me - I'm sure you can also use these to store similar things in the fridge that you want to make sure don't get too soggy. I just personally need a good bit of green onion storage - but I'm a big fan of these!! Even when I just need to quickly drain a can of beans or rinse some berries - it's really nice to have a colander of this size that's easy to clean. I live on my own and there's often no need to dirty a big colander for my single person prep needs.

I needed a replacement for the plastic vegetable strainer set that I had been using for years & years until the strainer insert started to deteriorate. I searched through Amazon for something similar but there was nothing close so I settled for this 2-piece berry bowl. (3-piece actually but I haven't stored anything in it and not sure now where the lid might be) I knew it would be somewhat smaller than what it was replacing but I decided to give it a try because I was desperate. When it arrived I was disappointed with how small it is but after a few months I have come to like it a lot. It always lives in the dish drainer in order to be readily available and it actually has proven large enough for most chores and it doesn't take up much space in said drainer. As the name indicates, it's a good size for washing normal size packages of berries and some other, larger quantity, produce may just be washed in batches. It gets used most every day.

Loved this bowl for my fruit! I mixed in my blackberries and blueberries and washed them in this bowl with vinegar. Then I put my blueberries inside the bowl and they were fresh for 4 days. Usually in the container it lasts barely 2 days.

This is exactly what I wanted. I bought one and then bought another after checking out the first one. Perfect for blueberries and raspberries. They are super practical and easy to use. I’ve found them to be durable.

Very good description. Right size to wash small amount about a cup of grapes and then store in fridge. I only wish it had a handle. I can get several in fridge by stacking them. Linda
