Product Description Review: Yummy and huge - These are great! A friend of mine in Europe bought these at his local grocery store and loved them. So I looked on desertcart and sure enough, I could get them in the US too. I think these must be the best grade of this variety of dates because I bought the same variety at a store (sourced from California, not Israel, different brand) and they weren't nearly as large and maybe a little less tasty too. I think the CA dates weren't the prime quality ones, but maybe climate is part of the difference. I don't know. These would be a fabulous gift. It's a huge box. Review: Plump and not too sweet, next best thing to fresh picked. - They're packaged nicely, the tongs are really useful. Its a large box, so if you aren't using them all at once, I recommend putting them in smaller containers, especially for longer term fridge/freezer storage. This is my second order of this size and there hasn't been a bad date in the bunch. They're large, "meaty" and not sugary sweet. Perfect for breakfast tea or coffee, chopping onto salads or in yogurt.

Most of dates are very dry and hard to chew .

Dry and Tasteless
Dates are dry and tasteless. I regret having sent several boxes as Christmas gifts. Packaging states “imported by Devik International inc” but doesn’t indicate from where.
