Very good for taking out tough stains. Definitely recommend. Only issue is I’m not sure if it’s the same as the Purex because I see Zout on the paper

This is a very old brand name product that continues to be natural and effective. Grated and mixed with baking soda and a laundry booster it makes the best over all laundry detergent you can use! I have made my own laundry detergent by mixing this soap with other ingredients for years.

Excellent! Take out dried in blood and grease.

Removes stubborn stains!

Over the past 10 to15 years I have made my own laundry soap and I use Fels Naptha as a base. I cleans well and has a low scent that esential oils cover. The recipe for the laundry soap makes 10 gallons, and I only need one bar. I remember a grandparent using this soap cut up in an old ringer washer. The only down side is the cost of the bar. Only a few years ago it was 1.29 in the grocery store. But it is still a good buy with the cost of regular laundry soap getting higher each day.

Every year I make my own laundry soap. This is the main ingredient (along with Arm & Hammer baking soda & super wash, and Borax). I can add fragrance if I want, but I like it either way. Clothes are clean and fresh, every time. And a very inexpensive way to get our clothes clean! Pennies per load.

We cleared out about 1 acre of brush, vines other nasty stuff (poison Ivy included) and were looking for an effective product to remove the Poison Ivy oils from skin and clothing. This works perfect. After spending hours in the bush we just come back and shower with the bar. It removes all the oils effectively. I actually shower with it every day in moderation. We shave off some and mix it with water and then put it in the laundry to clean any clothing which came into contact with the PI. 3 very large bars per package at a very reasonable price.

I bought this specifically to treat my stepson’s white baseball pants after games. This soap is a lifesaver. It removed grams grass, mud, dirt, red clay. Anything the baseball field throws at us. One bar lasts us about one season of play and it comes in a pack!

This laundry soap has been around forever and it is still the best. For 9 months out of the year I live in the country and the fancy new fandangled "washboard" is my 'washing machine'. This soap was made for that - it did its job decades ago and still does it today. I gave scent 5 stars because it doesn't have a scent - awesome. Clean - heck yes, my socks are cleaning using this soap and a washboard then they get in the washing machine. If you need a laundry soap - don't pass this one by. It is awesome!
