Couldn't make a bagel without it.
It's impossible to make New York bagels without this syrup. I was born and raised in the South and knew nothing of bagels. Finding myself married to a "Jersey Boy" was a real education. I had to learn that bagels are a fact of life and must be "just so" with exactly the right "bite", flavor, and soft strength in order to be a real New York Bagel. This was my introduction to this Barley Malt Syrup. The recipe called for it, so I had to buy it. According to my husband, my bagels are exactly like a New York street bagel, and he thinks he'll keep me. :)

Rich flavor and perfect natural sweetener!
There is nothing better for baking than this syrup! I tried dozens of options until I found this barley malt syrup! Just believe me, you couldn't even dream of a better result when baking bread! And what a taste and aroma!!🥰 Now I drive all the neighbors crazy and everyone comes for recipes)

Best quality sweetener imo
Eden barley malt is a little messy but best sweetener imo. I like the glass jar. Eden is a great company-been in business over 50 years highest standards no gmos, all organic

Best turkey brine ever!
We use this in our turkey brine & our turkey always turns out fabulous. Also in the brine is stout beer, salt, herbs & water.

I expected it to taste malty like a malted. NOPE! More like Sorghum. My mistake though.
I think it is just my mistake. I am sure it is a great product if you are looking for that product. I mean, it is fresh and looks like it should I guess. I just didn't know what I was buying. I thought it was the syrup like is used in soda fountains for Malts. To make it even crazier, I bought 3 jars and left the item in my cart and my husband checked out with another 3 jars. LOL If we ever figure out what to do with it, we are all set to do it!!! :)

Es un producto caro ya que es importado. Yo lo necesito para hacer unos panes como los bagels, asi que lo tuve que comprar pero no me arrepiento. Este producto le da un acabado mas refinado y oscuro a mis bagels y galletas. Lo recomiendo.
