Good product, good price!
**Update** While I still like this product in theory, there is a big problem. With time, this product begins to fail. My pouch has no obvious damage to it, but the car door opens automatically when the fob is still in the protective metal area of the pouch. One time I even had it in my pocket within the pouch, and was able to start the car! Needless to say that was a little concerning and I thought maybe it was a fluke. But there are other members of the family that also have this pouch. Theirs also have failed with time. I still think it's a good product but with a caveat. You will have to test it frequently. As an added safeguard, instead of hanging up our keys in the pouch, we put the keys in the pouch iand into a metal box. At least this way there is a certain degree of protection. I would say it's a good product BUT it must tested frequently and be prepared to replace it. But definitely it does work for a while. At the moment, I'm not too worried about someone taking the car. The worry is that someone will try to steal the catalytic converter. That seems to be happening in our area at the moment. -------------------------------------------------- Wow, I had no idea how easy it is for a tag team of thieves to steal a car! I saw a newscast that was reporting on "relay attacks" on vehicles. All you have to do is Google it. Apparently cars that have a start button instead of a key. The fobs constantly send a signal, or a ping in search of their matched vehicle. Auto thieves can scan the signal with their own electronic device, and just walk into your car and drive off. No key needed, just a digital signal! I ordered a pack of two Faraday pouches. The pouch works perfectly. I tested it to make sure that it worked. First, I walked up to the car. Normally the car will unlock if you are within a few feet of it. The car did not detect the fob while it was tucked away in the pouch. Next, I unlocked the car and sat in the driver's seat. I placed the fob back into the pouch. I hit the on button to start the car. Again, the car could not detect the fob and wouldn't start until I took it out of the pouch. I am very happy with the pouch. If you buy this product, please be aware that the pouch comes with two pockets. It is very important to note, you have to use the back pocket that is lined with a gold colored fabric. That fabric is what protects the signal from leaving the pouch. The first pocket is for small things like coins. It doesn't block signals. Only the back pocket does. The only thing I could be concerned about with this product is that it closes with velcro. At some point the velcro will wear out from overuse. Maybe use a binder clip to keep it closed if that happens. For the life of me I still do not understand why automakers came up with this idea of a keyless ignition. I guess I'm old school. I prefer keys over fobs. I guess times change & this appears to be the latest fad. Until auto makers use some common sense to either go back to a real key, or include an on-off switch on the fobs, this is a great product that can help deter an expensive theft. I totally recommend it.

Does it's job well
As the title suggests, yes these bags do the job right, the size is good however if you want to fit it in your pocket... yeah, and I don't have to worry about someone taking my car in the middle of the night. Pros: - Excellent signal blocking - Key fits perfectly - Good looking too Con: - A bit too large for some pockets Get it if you have a keyless car

Excellent product.
Works great. I tested this by standing next to my vehicle and I could not unlock or access my car. Don't mistake car RFID with credit card RFID as they are not the same. I keep my key fob in my faraday bag when I am home and wherever I can to prevent theft.

Decent bang for the buck
They work pretty good. Over it time they can stop functioning due to opening and closing the pouch to many times. I've had 4 of these bags and use them daily. First one stopped blocking signal and was replaced by the company. 2nd bag key ring stitching fell apart. 3rd bag right now and it's holding up well. I mainly use it for my cards and cash anymore due to newer keys being bigger. I use the Ticonn box for storing keys at home.

Protecting keyfob battery
Works okay. Didn't want my keyfob battery to be overused and kill it. I think its doing its job.

Quit working after less than a year.
Just quit working. I bought this and keep it in my backpack in a dedicated pocket. I don't want my car starting in the garage when I am packing my backpack for work. I also don't want it starting while I am at work. When I bought this less than a year ago it worked. You could push and hold the start button on my remote start key fob and the car would not start when the fob was in the pouch. I tried putting the key fob in both pockets on the pouch and it kept the car from starting. Last night it just randomly quit working. I can start my car every time now when the key fob is in the pouch. It's not even a year old. This is useless. Having a car running in an attached garage with the garage door shut is very dangerous. I will never use this product again. It still looks brand new and isn't even worn, no dirt. Doesn't work at all now. I am switching to a hard case for my key fob so I know my car isn't going to start by accident while my key fob is in my backpack.

Great value product that does exactly what it says. It shields my keys from radio waves as intended; even standing right next to the car, as long as the key fob remains in the shielded bag, the car door won't open. But as soon as I open the pouch and pull the fob even part of the way out, the door will open. The pouch itself seems to be made of good quality materials that should last. All this and I got two pouches for the one low price. All round this is a great deal.

Does what it's supposed to. Walked right up to my dads Ranger and nada, car wouldn't lock or unlock. Personally I think the bag is a decent size, I don't find it too big like some people have said. It could definitely fit in your pocket. I bought these to keep the spare car keys in since they never leave the house. Better safe than sorry.

Works great, walked out to my car with the key fob in the bag, the door locks would not activate. No signal present from the fob.
