I purchased the Purify Life Occipital Release Tool and it has been a great addition to my self-care routine. The design perfectly supports the neck and targets pressure points at the base of the skull. After just a few minutes of use, I could feel my neck muscles relaxing and tension easing. It’s sturdy, well-made, and holds its shape without feeling too hard or uncomfortable. I especially like that it helps with tension headaches and stiffness from long hours of phone and computer use. It’s easy to use—just lie down and let gravity do the work. Great value for the price and much more affordable than frequent massage appointments. This tool works great for neck stiffness and pain. Just 10-15 minutes a day gently stretches and realigns everything, bringing real relief to my neck, shoulders, and upper back. It’s easy to use at home, firm yet comfy, and targets the right spots without any pain. I’ve used it daily for weeks, morning stiffness is way down and it’s now part of my routine. If you deal with neck or shoulder tension, this is worth every penny!

Not sure I’m using it correctly, but it seems to have eliminated my morning headaches (from stress, TMJ/grinding teeth, and that occipital nerve at the base of your skull) just by laying on it for about 10 minutes before I go to bed. Nice wind down time. Sometimes I listen to music or an audiobook while it stretches my neck out. It’s just a piece of semi-hard foam with a dent in the middle and some round bumps for pressure points. But whatever. It works for me. It’s a little expensive for what it’s made of. But worth it to not wake up with a headache.

Life changing! I was in a car accident 17 years ago that gave me really bad whiplash. I had issues with my neck ever since. Multiple trips to the chiropractor, X-rays showed reversal of neck curvature, couldn’t bend my neck forward or backwards without a lot pain and tension. I have also had issues with frozen shoulder for the last 7 years. That has disappeared as well and it no longer hurts to sleep on my side. I have been using this for about a month. The first week I was consistent and then slowly tapered to a few times a week. It’s night and day difference. I can bend my neck now with no pain and the stiffness has almost vanished. The first time I used it was very painful and tender, I had to ease myself onto the pillow but after the first few times it no longer hurts at all. The pillow itself is a very hard dense molded foam. Not plastic like some have mentioned. It seems to be high quality and made well. Best money I have spent on something that has really helped my quality of life.

This was recommended by my chiropractor. It immediately caused a headache and I couldn't find a comfortable spot, but I decided to give it a chance in hopes it would relieve stress. I started out slowly (5 minutes). On day ten, I upped it to 6 minutes. When I was done, I was in so much pain because my back was in a huge spasm down the entire left side of my spine. This is something that has never happened to me before. It left me in such pain that I couldn't get up off the floor. I am physically fit and have NEVER had problems getting up from the floor. I laid on my back for 30+ minutes until the pain subsided and I was able to get up. What an absolute waste of money!!!!!!! Update: The seller, Purity Life offered me a full refund. My chiropractor said the Occipital Release Tool provided great relief for many of his patients, but unfortunately, it did not work for me. Kudos (and 5-Stars) to Purity Life for their quick response!

After a day of walking through the mall I had severe headache and neck pain. I tried ibuprofen and it didn't work so I decided to use the pad. It was delivered that day so I opened up the box laid down on my bed and placed my neck on the pad. Instant relief in my neck. The pain shooting from my neck to my head went away and I was shocked this pad works! I use this every day and it is life changing for me. The pain has not come back and my neck feels good when I sleep. No pain when I wake up and no pain in the middle of the night. I would recommend to anyone with side neck pain. It definitely helps with Stenosis.

What I bought this for: I purchased this occipital release tool hoping to relieve neck tension, improve spinal alignment, and help with TMJ-related discomfort. I used it as directed, lying back on it for a few minutes at a time. First impressions: The product is well-made, and I appreciated that it’s FSA/HSA eligible. The design seemed promising — simple, supportive, and targeted. Performance & Experience: The first session actually felt pretty good — I noticed some tension relief in my neck and shoulders. But by day two or three, it started to feel too hard and uncomfortable, and the pressure points didn’t hit the same. Instead of relief, I felt more soreness after using it. I gave it a few more tries but ended up having to return it. Pros: • High-quality material • May work well for certain body types or tension spots • Eligible for FSA/HSA use Cons: • Too firm for me — became painful • Relief didn’t last beyond the first use • Not adjustable or flexible for different neck shapes Would I recommend it? It didn’t work for me, but it might work for others with different neck tension patterns. Definitely try it on a soft surface and don’t overuse it. Thankfully, returns were easy. Tips for Buyers: Try it on your bed first before moving to a hard floor If you have a sensitive neck or TMJ flare-ups, use with caution

Feels like they strong pair of hands you need to hold the right spot at the base of your neck that you can’t get to on your own. Recommended by my physiotherapist as I appreciate it.

Definitely provides relief, however it is slightly difficult to remain in certain positions since it did not come with non slip pads as promised.

This thing is amazing. One of those things you didn’t know you needed until you got it! If you have neck or back problems you can stretch it all out and get a quick adjustment. I always align myself on this before a workout and before and after sleep.
