I am quite happy with these broccoli seeds. I'm on my 3rd round of sprouting them in a mason jars. Almost every seed sprouted. These are easily the best seeds I have worked with so far. Tastes great on my salads. I freeze them after the 5 day sprouting process. Have found sprouting them in the dark (as many people say to do) grows far slower and smaller. In the window sill with indirect sunlight worked amazing, easily doubled the size and cut the growing time down by 2 days.

I have no idea if these things are good or not... I bought them based on reviews, as I was looking to get in on the SPROUT craze.... One youtube video, and others, suggested I should get edible sprouts in 5 days!!! Well, think again!!! Is it me or is it these seeds, but, I never get anything usable before 7 days, and I do not get a big fat healthy jar of sprouts like other people seem to, on the youtube videos.. Yes, I followed instructions to the T.... But, not much growing going on here... But, I have no way yet, of knowing if this is what I should expect here!!! Hummmmm!! But, I keep trying... I just started two more jars a couple days ago... They are growing, but, five days??? Nope! More like 8 or so if I am lucky... And, I have gotten a limited amount per jar, so far... In fact, one of my two last jars went belly up, just crapped out!!! No idea what went wrong... Poured them out after about 6 days.... You live and, maybe you learn.... I will change brands next time, just for the sake of experimenting.. Actually, I think I will buy another brand soon, maybe two or three brands, just to experiment with this brand issue.. Maybe it is not an issue, maybe it is me, but, gotta do the deed and see what happens!!! Will report back on this later, if I think about it....

These are by far the best sprouts I’ve found! I have 3 big boy mason jars going in my house at all times and I’m SERIOUS about my sprouts. I eat them by the handfuls all by themselves, at least twice a day. They have the best flavor and best sprout rate. I’ve tried at least 5 other kinds and they don’t compare!

These seeds work very well for me. I have been sprouting for about 20 years. I've used various kinds of seeds through the years, and these compare very favorably with any that I've used. I never use soil for spreading seeds. I tried that a few times, but I had about the same amount of success is one of the other reviewers had. I seemed to have lots of mold issues. I finally started using a common wide mouth Mason jar for my sprouting container. I use a lid which I purchased from someone years ago. It has perforations in the top and a sort of a little grid pattern. Since I started using this, I haven't had any problems whatsoever in growing excellent sprouts. I put about one fourth cup of seeds in a mason jar and filled up with water almost to the top, and then put one fourth cup of bleach in the jar. I put the lid on, then I shake the jar it a little to make sure the seeds are all loose. I then set it on the countertop and soak the seeds in that mixture for about 2 hours. This seems to take care of the mold issues. At that point, I simply drain that solution, with the lid on, and then fill the jar with plain cold tap water, and then drain it completely. I do this about four or five times. It doesn't take very long, probably five minutes or less. You will need a way to prop the jar up when you're ready to start the sprouting process. I use a large cup or mug. Find a place where you're going to do it and have your mug handy before you start. On the last rinse, with the jar still upside down, place in on the cup or mug so that it's held up at an angle. You should rinse about twice a day. Make sure to rinse the mug out each day as well. Good luck on your sprouting.

I've been using these now for more than a year and pleased overall. As long as they are rinsed twice a day and water completed drained off they turn out pretty well. There are always some seeds that don't sprout, but I think that's probably normal.
