1/4" x 11" is the best format for measurement to add a label. I found that a label maker under "Brother P-touch D610BT. use the 12mm 0.47" template. However, it is still slightly too big, so you would require to trim it still by, say 1/8" of inch or so. however, once done you can slide it in and the labels are clear and concise. Would be nice that they adjusted the clearance to work with standard labels, so there is that. I found the files are made from plastic and is very durable to use. They are also reusable, so it is a sound investment.

Very Sturdy, looks very neat and organized. These file folders have improved the efficiency of my office space. They are easy to label and the magnifying indexes make finding files a breeze. The black color is professional and blends well with my existing office decor.

Finally, a great filing system that's clean & organized. No more flimsy hanging file folders that give out when loaded up.

The only thing i don’t like about these folders is that because of the beautiful hard plastic top edge, they take up so much room in my portable file tote. I can only fit 6 if i want to be able to open them to file papers. My file cabinet holds significantly more of these, no problem. A little pricey but worth it. I like the magnifying strip, the bright colors, and the sturdiness of these files. I also like the hard plastic color thing where you slide the label. Makes a very clean and organized appearance in my file cabinet. Also, the back edge of each folder has little clips that connect it to the folder behind it! I would definitely recommend this product, and buy it again.

I love these files ...they are pricey but so worth it.. you won't be disappointed. You should assess how many you will need before purchase, since it may be worth it for you to purchase the max at $65.00 I believe you get 35 files. The labeling is a little tedious but just take your time with sliding the paper through the plastic index. The company may want to make the paper more sturdy for this process.

Some of the reviews claim they have issues with the size of the plastic tips and it interfering with their ability to fit into their cabinets/ drawers. To me, it seems all of them are NOT standard size file cabinets... Being either to skinny/wide/shallow, etc. These fit my cabinet perfectly. One complaint was how 'bent' the folders come. They are a little warped from packaging and will need your attention to get flat and shaped the way they should be. Not a big deal at all. It'll take you about 1 minute a piece to fold the opposite way they are bent and they will be nice and straight. The price is right and these are tough enough to keep allot of folders/files in them.

I had the bright idea of opening samsung notes and setting the note to the wide lined background setting, then I sent it to my 4X6 label printer as a image doc. which allowed the lines to be there, then I took a straight edge and a box cutter and sliced along the lines, and that made the perfect little labels. In case you are struggling to slide the written or typed labels in make sure your slide (the clear magnified bar that goes on top) is already lined up and pushed in a little then take your cut strip and use your fingers to hold it pressing up against the clear slide as you push it in. I would have shown in a video or photo but I did not think to take one, and to protect my own privacy just in case.

These have helped me organize my office. I can color code projects and easily read the file labels with the length & magnifying size of the label. They are an investment & I have purchased on sale. You cannot fit the same amount of hanging folders in the cabinet because of their sturdy design but being able to find files quickly is a very worthwhile trade.
