Almost one year to the date of purchase this grate is now cracked in the middle and ready to fall apart. As they say you get what you pay for!

Within a year of occasional use, the grate collapsed in the middle, fell apart. There's a reason why this one is so much less money. I would say you get what you pay for, but given how quickly this fell apart, you don't even get what you pay for. Spend a few more bucks and get one that's not disposable.

It looks well made and it is heavy duty. I purchased a similar product before and it lasted for several years. I anticipate that this will do the same. I like the height of it and the size. It allows air to circulate through and around it so it gives you the ability to get a good fire going. And allows for easier fire starting and maintaining a good burn.

Put this thing through the fire (pun intended) during a really cold snap here this winter. It has held up and works great! If your firebox is big enough for this then buy it, you will not be disappointed! Has plenty of room underneath it and allows a great amount of airflow to keep your fire burning nice and strong.

Was able to find this locally at either Lowes or Home Depot. The once they did have were so thin, would not have lasted through one fire. Very happy.

I think it’s a great product. It’s really held a lot of good size fires throughout the season, but it really only lasts two seasons. I don’t know if it’s the alloy of the metal or why it deteriorate so fast but I’ve had to buy two in the last four years and I’m going to buy my third right now. I will probably keep buying them because I haven’t been able to find another grate that lasts longer.

you guys finally got the dimensions right. The one I chose was bigger than the last one but fits perfectly.

Very good strength and size. Worth the purchase. Used in a wood pool heater, fit perfect in a 60 gallon drum.

After one season the grates are breaking. And I don't have too many fires in the fireplace ... at most one per week.
