Can the plates be flipped over and use the smooth side on the back for frying eggs, etc?

I have a ford expedition with the built in outlet and also i have other plug ins. But will this work with all that??

The product spec says it pulls 750 watts. If you have a Ford standard 400 watt inverter, then no. You'll start blowing fuses. Your vehicle will have a label somewhere telling you what wattage you have available, probably on the engage switch. If its a gotta-do, amazon has AC inverters, just be sure to get one that says sine-wave with the wattage you require.

How long does it take to make waffles? some said 6 minutes. Others said 15-20 minutes.

Honestly, I wasn’t timing it to the t but I checked the waffle every five minutes and it took over two to three checks before it wasn’t pale. So I would say it definitely added to 15-20 minutes for a single batch. Also, after the 15-20 minutes the waffle was still soft and developed no crisp.
