Can you use this as a garment bag and pack other clothing as well?

Yes, this bag is very spacious and accommodates at least a blazer; 5-6 hanging dress shirts and at least 2 pairs of pants. Various pockets for other clothing and shoes are plentiful

Does this bag sit up on it's own? It only has two wheels and the built in foot does not appear to be the same height as the wheels.

The bag will stand on its wheels and pegs with no problems. I have used it filled to capacity and half filled. I have had no problems either way.

How many hangers worth of garments will this hold?

We used at least 8 hangers (1 suit coat hanger which is thick and the rest were plastic white hangers). I packed 2 pairs of men's shoes along the sides, rolled several clothing items and placed those at the bottom, and filled both upper zippered triangle cubbies to the max. I even had shirts and some slacks in the inside zippered portion. This suitcase holds alot. It proved to be a main staple bag for us when we need to travel without iron access. Well worth the cost. Shipped fast and had no damage. It's going to AZ/NZ next. That's a 24-day trip.
