I originally bought the Gbox Q and thought, "i don't need the key, I'll program it myself". I spent a little time googling it, started to do some things on my own. I was getting errors left and right. Other people didn't have issues, but I did. Ok eventually, the Gbox Q sat there collecting dust for a bit. I am a lazy man, i wish this stuff just came with my box. So NOW I gave in a just bought the KEY - IT'S WORTH THE MONEY-. It just does everything for you. - AND IT WORKS, i didn't test ALL the links and add on buts but i randomly browsed atleast 20+ of them so far and they all worked - maybe some links didn't so some of the alt links had to be clicked- but they worked. So now i kick back and browse through KODI - and i can customize my Gbox Q the way I like it without stressing over if my box is configured correctly.

While the intended purpose is right on, the product it supports is just not viable as even a novice mini media center.

I purchased this a few months ago and all seemed well it installed without any problems and it updated my Kodi. It also changed the graphics and branded the home screen with TV Addons logos which I didn't care for at all but the add-on updates seemed to work properly. I recently needed to make changes to my video library that I had on a local NAS drive and that is when I noticed all was not well and when I tried to add new files I found that I was able to browse to them but the OK buttons was gone and I was unable to select a folder to add files from. I am using Matricom Gbox Q that was purchased at the same time I purchased the key. I used the Gbox for a few weeks before installing the add-ons from the key to make sure the box wasn't defective so at that time I was able to select the folders and add files to my library. After finding this problem I started poking around and found other issues, for instance if I try to change the skin to get rid of the TV Addons logos it will not let me change to a diffrent skin nor revert back to the default skin and when I select the Get More button and select another skin from the list nothing happens when I select it. I haven't made any other changes or added any other programs or Add-on to the device other than installing the key so I am pretty certain this is the cause of my problems. Because of these issues I would not recommend purchasing this key also you can install these add-ons manually from the correct repositories it's just a little more work but at least then you can choose what is modified and added instead of someone choosing for you.

So I'll start by saying the entire Kodi stuff is still way above my understanding, so any help to get launched is worth it. The forums are for folks who already have a clue. Between the video and lots of replay to keep up, I got it. Can you load these yourself...yes, and is it worth it to experts...no. But to me, it was well worth price to minimize my aggravation at understanding how to get it running.

I'm an actual customer. I bought the Matricom G Box and tried for two days to figure out how to get Netflix and Hulu on the damn thing. After two days, I was so pissed that I though about throwing it in the trash and buying a ROKU. I had read the reviews of this little key --- some of them aren't too flattering. But they are DEAD wrong. This thing is worth every penny. And don't get spooked by the "hard to follow directions and key doesn't work" crap. I'm not that technical and I had it done and loaded in 5 minutes. Now I have access to a gizzillion movies. Un-bah-leav-able!

I bought this key along with a XBMC box. If you are buying one these boxes you need this key to get the most out it. I read some of the other reviews that said it didn't work and I totally disagree. It worked as described although I did have to watch the video several times. I love my box and I kept my key to program the next box that I purchase.

We returned this item. It didn't work for us. At all. The seller did refund us promptly, though. We recently learned that Kodi can run on the Fire Stick, so we rarely even use our Gbox anymore. Setup is easy - there are youtube videos walking you through it. We like Average White Guy's best. Save your money and do it yourself rather than purchasing this key.

Tried to load the key following instructions on seller website with one luck. Went back o website a day later on my PC and noticed that there were notation updates to the instructions that were not visible on my IPad the day before. I was able to load the key following the updated instructions. I tried contacting the user three times twice by email and once by phone about my problem but never received a response. Customer service could be a little better. Key worked fine after solving problems.
