I bought this set to round the edges on breakfast boards I am making. They worked great and they are fine for the price. Once I start making more boards, I will see how long they will last and add my review here.I saw questions about the top bearing, and I actually bought them exactly because I needed this bearing.I have a 1" radius on all four edges of the board and made a jig to be able to use the bit all around my boards. I didn't find a different solution rounding the corners with a radius! The bearing diameter is 0.625in or 5/8 in. Just measured it.

They are of good quality and I have no problem recommending them. I am a new router user and did have difficulty. It may be because of this bit or may be my inexperience. There is a metal guide that limits the depth of the cut. I tried to stay perpendicular but when the bearing (guide) was pressed up against the wood, the half-circle was not "deep enough" leaving a small flat on the very edge of the half-circle. I don't want to be too critical as it may just be my incorrect use.

I used these to shape the edge of an axe handle that I made and they worked perfectly.

Quality of carbide is ok.

Can use these bits, however, would have been happier if they were sharper. Have a tendency to grab sometimes. But the pricing was OK and I finished my project successfully.

Just used one of the bits but it was nicely honed and did a beautiful job shaping about 80' of 5/8" cherry
