Odd radio channels and slightly strangely setup remote However it works great blue tooth is great ( phone connects well and works well on my workshop) the only issue is there is no switch to change the speaker banks over but I new that when I bought it . Sound quality is good across a range of speakers

Tidy unit wasn't clear headphones Jack did not cut out speakers. Also received damaged aerial that was promised to be replaced. Still not had a replacement yet.

My current CD player decided to hold onto one CD and keep it inside the machine and ignore the button pressing requests to open the tray and give it back, much like its predecessor! So I needed a replacement, one without speakers of which I have many, and one with an amplifier capable of accommodating my turntable for playing vinyl records. I undertook much research, both online and in shops, and concluded that the KEiiD CD Music Amplifier model:KD-VD01 was best suited to my requirements, subject to two technical questions. I found the KEiiD Facebook page and messaged them my questions, which were answered to my satisfaction within a number of minutes! So, I ordered the item on a Sunday, was advised by Amazon that it would be delivered on the following Thursday, and it arrived the very next day, 3 days early. First impressions were favourable, the unit being quite heavy (4kg plus), so no movement when pressing buttons, and obviously very well made. The accompanying booklet is brief and easy to read, being mostly pictures, so no delay to getting started. The aerial has a magnetic base so attaches to the metal chassis easily (there’s an adhesive pad if you choose to locate it remotely), works well, and is smaller than expected, so that’s a good thing. Setting up is easy, just plug in the power cord, wire up the speakers (it will accommodate 4) and attach the aerial and away to go. Adding the turntable is by means of a 3.5mm jack plug adaptor into the Aux socket on the front and plays by means of the Media button directly above it. The remote control already had the batteries installed. Playing the radio (FM is all that I require), playing CDs, and playing vinyl records all give rise to great sound, no complaints there! The controls are all intuitive, much like your car unit. I am delighted with my purchase, and am looking forward to many years of happy CD playing without any prospect of a drawer getting stuck, and the benefit of VW’s engineering excellence. The unit meets my requirements exactly, and I would recommend it highly.

ordered this on Wednesday - came the following day! totally pleased , i already had a number of old speakers laying around so this was perfect. easy to use - i needed to change the language to English - dead simple. hooked up 4 speakers, plugged it in away she went. great sound, linked up to my phone on blue tooth (Sony xperia), radio is fine cd is fine aux is fine - great value- nice little box, well packed - bargain - stop what your doing - go buy one, faultless

Works very well for a restaurant. Very easy to use and similar to the radio systems in Volkswagen cars.

MEDIOCRE SOUND QUALITY, SO DON'T TRY USING THIS IN A DECENT HI-FI SYSTEM.

Have purchased this device, since I was looking for a small, but capable device for my sauna relaxing room with radio and which plays from USB, SD card and from CD; the connectivity via bluetooth to the mobile is an additional nice gimmick here. The idea, to put a car radio into such a box in order to use it stationary with two extra speakers is an excellent idea. The device was working properly and has a good sound with two Canton speakers (Canton Plus GXL.3). Also the bass is not too bad and sufficient for my purpose. The only issue were some scratches in the frame of the device, and an antenna which was damaged. I contacted the seller and suggested a price reduction (instead of sending back the device, which causes effort and environmental concerns) and the seller immediately gave me a reduction. At the end, I am very happy with this device; small but very capable for a fair price. Recommendable for all who are looking for a small receiver with a sufficient power for small rooms and many features.

Unpredictable, this is my second unit, red display light goes on and off by itself along with radio. One hour timer does not turn off. Sound is good, fm antenna is sub par. The manual is poorly written with no way to contact seller, Amazon is aware of this problem and correcting it.

...insgesamt sind deutliche Schwächen vorhanden. Das Positive: Klang und Design sind wirklich gut. Die Ausstattung (Anschlüsse) ebenfalls. Das war es aber auch schon im Wesentlichen. Die Verarbeitung ist tatsächlich schlecht (Antenne defekt, eine Stationstaste klemmt, Fehlerkorrektur des CD-Laufwerkes ist mau, Fernbedienung hat nur rudimentäre Funktionen). Die wichtigsten Bedienungen können nur direkt am Gerät vorgenommen werden. Aber das Gerät klingt gut und passt genau dahin, wo es soll. Erfüllt somit seinen vorgesehenen Zweck. Die Alternative zu der von mir benötigten Ausstattung (vorhandene Art und Anzahl der Anschlüsse) wäre ein 650,- € Marantzgerät gewesen. Da nehme ich die vorhandenen Unzulänglichkeiten (zähneknirschend) in Kauf. China rules...
