I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with this product. Everything in this kit is extremely well made and worth every penny. This kit comes with 40 little bags of wool that comes in a wide array of colors. (Although, I am surprised by how small the bags are, this is my fault for not knowing how much 3 grams is) The scissors cut excellently, the awl seems to be of high quality (haven't used yet), the tweezers are heavy, the pliers are strong, the thimble is heavy, the finger covers are thick, the felting pad is dense, and the wool felt molds are surprisingly thick. The only con of this kit is the fact that all the metal pieces don't come in 4 metal colors as described (some came in 4 different colors but they aren't equally distributed). However, this is overshadowed by the fact that all the metal pieces bring more than the listed amount (one of them came with 10 more pieces than described!) Also, the eye and nose pieces came with way more pieces than listed. Another excellent plus of this kit is the 'Wool Felting Material Set' book that the kit came with. This book is excellent quality; the pages of made of a thick cardstock like material, and list how to use each tool. Even better, the book includes a tutorial for how to make a needle felted donut and a tutorial for how to clean your felted creations. And I can't forget the felting handles! Both handles came fully stocked with the needles already inside of them. Great beginners set, like others have mentioned the wool included is in small amounts, but it was enough for what I was doing. I like that it came with the wooden handles and many extra needles. The pliers were also a nice inclusion as well!

I got this as a starter kit when ilearned about felt needling just recently. I was surprised to find out how expensive some of the items are when purchased alone and that this kit has so many of them for the price. You get a great amount of so many colors of will, scissors, needles with all different bands, finger guards, so many things to list. It's a perfect way to start out in the craft and had so far given me and my child multiple hours of fun together time! Everything you need to get started, make many different items of your choosing and create fun and cute gifts or decor. Highly recommend!

This is fantastic for small projects. It can be used to needlefelt many projects the size of your palm. What it's not good for is large projects, as they require more of one color (typically white) than what this kit gives you. In terms of quantity, it's an amazing value. All the wool included is fine for more than 10 small items; there's something for holding wire, there's a handle for the many needles, and there's even foam stencils that I've actually used, which are helpful for repeating patterns (like flower petals in a flower). The quality is okay. If you wet-felt the wool doesn't stick that well. Other than that the wool is fine. The needles lose their sheen after some handling. If you replace the needle in the single-needle wooden handle, it starts to wear on the handle and the needle sinks in (making felting impossible using the handle). The five needle tool is basically useless unless you get more wool from somewhere else because the amount of each color given means you can't make large projects, not nearly large enough to justify five needles. Three needles would've been far better. Some of the nails included (for attaching loops) were bent; most of the plastic eyes have bits hanging out, which sometimes makes them unusable (other times you can clip them off). It's cool that three different sizes are included though. Which is why only one star is removed. Those are very small flaws but they add up. Otherwise, it's a good kit and a great one for beginners. Just note that needlefelting is addictive; soon this won't be enough. This kit is only a taste but it's a good one. Just don't expect it to be your final needlefelt purchase.

I had never felted before, so at a recommendation, I got this kit to try my hand at making a felted gnome. Well, it was great. The pictures are of the gnomes I made. I also made a little bunny, but he turned out a little mishapen as my first project, lol. If you haven't felted, before, I will tell you I found out that it takes lots of time to punch all that wool into a cute little animal. I will stick to the type of felted gnomes I make by punching the wool into the felt squares and then assembling them. But it was so much fun and I did find it relaxing, so can't wait to make some more. The vendor was excellent, received the kit in excellent condition, quickly, delivered as scheduled. Just to verify for others, this IS a beginners kit, so the wool may not be the greatest quality, but if you are just beginning, you don't want to waste good quality products while you are learning. Therefore, for the low price of this kit, it worked out great for me. I personally found it to be a great kit for the price I paid. It could have used better instructions, but : So much stuff was in this box. Everything you need to get started. And I thought most of the items were very good quality. 1. The pliers are NOT plastic and are stainless steel. They work very well. 2. The wooden handle is good quality and does what is needed. 3. The 8 needle wooden handle is very efficient and works VERY well for larger crafts. 4. The felting needles are very good quality. At least 20 are in the kit overall. But be careful- they are incredibly sharp and fragile. If you poke the wool the wrong way, the tip of the needle will snap off. 5. The finger cots are very good and are REAL leather. I am very impressed. 6. The scissors are a hard plastic, although the blades are sharp and cut the wool well. Those are the main tools. It also comes with multiple bags of different sized eyes. It comes with excess items as well. The wool appears to be little amounts in the bags, but once taken out it is much bigger and can last a while. The foam pad is also very good, and it does its job. The kit comes with 7 stencils. They have easy and cute designs on them- perfect for beginners.

Good kit that comes with all you need to start needle felting! The carrying case is cute and it all fits nicely together. The wool color samples are relatively small which may be a problem if you like using one color over the others, but you can make them go far. Would recommend for others venturing into the hobby.

The wool is TINYYYYYYYY, but the foam pad is very dense. You get a lot of very vibrant colors, I’d say it’s worth it because you’re getting you’re moneys worth, it comes with everything you need, a variety of colors, it’s just a very small amount, but the quality of everything is HIGH. The needles are sturdy, the protective covers are thick, and tweezers aren’t flimsy. It’s def worth it! And it comes with a guide book so it’s easy to use.

There's a lot of good tools in here to get started with felting. The tools are good enough to get started with. The finger covers are lacking though. The seam is large enough for the felting needles to stab into, so there have been several instances of stabbing ourselves through the seam in the finger covers. The felt included is in very small amounts. You're going to be making very small items, but it's enough to know if you're going to have the patience to do felting. All the tools are usable and good enough to start with for quite a while. There's nothing here you'll use long term if you really get deep into felting, but this kit will let you know if it's something you or your kids are interested in doing.

As a small business I've been wanting to expand what I offer to clients for quite some time. Felting has been at the top of my list for the last year and a half. I was originally going to buy just a felting needle and some wool felt but decided that I should probably buy a kit that has the basics. If you're a beginner this kit is absolutely worth the price. You get a TON of supplies including felt shape templates like clouds, hearts, flowers, some animals, etc. You also get a lot of felting needles which saves me the extra hassle of ordering more online. The amount of wool you get looks like a lot less when it's in the bag. I also thought "there's barely enough to make two felt balls" but once you remove it from the bag you realize there's way more than you initially thought. I love using the mini pliers and the small scissors that are included and within half an hour of opening the box I made a felt ball and a felt star. Now the cons of this kit. There's going to be some things in here that you probably won't use if you're just buying it to make shapes and felt balls but with that being said there's far more in here that you'll use than you wont.

I bought two of these because i needed the product as a gift the delivery person didn't leave my 1st order they didn't read the delivery instructions anyway I received 2 of them and liked what I saw so I kept one for me and the other for a gift.I love what I saw inside.
