I've never used the little thing, but the big jar opener works great. It fits a multitude of jar sizes, grips firmly and gives enough leverage to open stubborn jars. It's simple, but it works well. If I can find where I put the little thing, maybe I'll give it a try...

While great in theory, this opener has some design flaws. It simply doesn't work the way intended. It slips and refuses to grip as it should. Also, it doesn't open wide enough for some jars. I had a metal opener years ago and it opened up 180 degrees, allowing a good grip on any size lid. This one just doesn't compare and got pitched out. REVISED: This opener actually works great. I didn’t realize I needed to slip the jar lid into the groove. Once I did that and squeezed it tight, it released the vacuum seal and then the lid opened easily. My only complaint now is that some jar lids are too big and won’t fit, but most of them work fine.

I suffer from tendinitis and carpal tunnel (one on my left, the other on my right). Needless to say, this has made daily life a bit difficult. It finally reached the point where I had to force myself to buy these handy devices. I have small hands and it did take some getting used to. The best tool out of the two is the jar opener. It made opening jars super easy and I almost couldn't believe my eyes! The other tool that's intended for bottles and opening other sealed items was really difficult to use, but there could also be a learning curve. I tried using it to open sodas and vienna sausage containers, but it made it more difficult - if you can believe that! Overall, it was worth it for the jar opener alone, especially at such an affordable price point. (I mean, seriously!! I paid less than $7 for this)

IT WORKS !! I have very weak hand power I guess..and doubted this would work for me based on some reviews. My game is INNDEPENDANCE - asking for help with a can of soup or any zip top is depressing too. Shocked when I used the jar opener and opened a new jar of pickles. SMALL VICTORY to most but not to me..thrilled !! Just be sure you use the jar opener correctly .. not upside down ;) Now I dont need to bother my husband ..that's a victory in itself. IM TOTALLY PLEASED WITH BOTH OPENERS IN THIS PACK.

If you are like me and you have or you’re developing arthritis or you just get angry when you can’t open a jar or bottle, this set is for you! I have a certain type of vitamin water that I like but I’ve never had a bottle that was so incredibly hard to open! My fingers hurt so bad after I open one that often I just don’t! Or if I have too much trouble I just put it back in the fridge. I’ve tried just about everything to make it easier. This is great and saves my hands. If I had to put a 1-10 number on it, without this tool the pain on my hands was around 7-8. But with this, I’d say it’s down to 1 or 2! If I had one observation, it would be the absence of a can opening point. And I’ve found 1 or 2 jars that this didn’t open wide enough to open but it would be even bigger than it is if it accommodated every bottle or jar. For the price, this is awesome and was worth it to save my fingers. Now I’m going to get a bottle of water!

This is great! I live alone and don't have the best wrist strength. This made it so easy to open spaghetti sauce, etc. The smaller one is awesome for opening the plastic water/soda bottles. I had a small gathering (socially distant and wearing masks) where we played Dirty Santa and I brought this. It was a hit and everyone wanted it. Three of the people that missed out on it got the information from me and ordered themselves one while the game was still going on!

This gripper tends to be weaker than the lids it comes up against. The softer part of the rubber shreds when I put a lot of pressure on it to try to open something. Not great value, I got a better quality one for $4 years ago. The other tool works fine.

Just received this 2 days ago, going back to order more. Lately my age and arthritis has made it so difficult to open jars, bottles and opening water bottles killed my wrists. No more, this works like a charm. The small one for water bottles was my main thing I needed, but this other gadget with triple opening for different sizes is going to greatly help too- the smallest part of it opens water bottles, then middle for larger, etc.

This works very well and opens pretty well every size bottle. I have opened those small Heinz Ketchup bottle lids and jam jars and mayonnaise jars , which are quite big , and it works very well.

小さな蓋などは 軽く空きますが 大きな瓶詰の蓋などは 掴む手が届きにくい 思いっきり手のひらを広げて 掴まないといけないので 手が小さいと難しいです 妻の事ですが

Purchased for my 77 year old mother that is 90 pounds and everything is harder for her to open now so I purchased several jar and bottle openers that are electric but these ones she can take down to the seniors social room or when she visits relatives and not have to ask for help as she hate to ask for any assistance with anything. She loves them and they make a great gift for anyone but really great for seniors
