Rock N Roll 135816 Gold Chain Lubricant, 4-Ounce (2-Pack)

The 2 pack deal is a great bag for your buck. Use it on my Fat tire bike in later fall/winter. Holds up well and cleans up well. Seems to get 160ish Miles before needing to clean and reapply. Handled 2 longer winter rides in Iowa during storms without allowing too much build up of snow/ice. Great lubricantnt for someone that just want to do a cleaning and apply it without much worry or clean up.

I really like this chain lube. It basically cleans & lubes at the same time so no fussy prep is needed. The chain also seems to pick up less gunky road grit than other lubes. It may not last as long as heavier duty lubes but that's a small price to pay for the convenience & cleanliness. Highly recommended.

Best MTB Lube of all time IMO. (At least for the dry conditions I ride in) Cleans and lubes in one application. Just follow the instructions. I'm a dedicated Rock N Roll fan!

Based on published test results showing it had very low friction, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm not interested in going the wax route. Thoroughly cleaned the chains and drivetrains on two bikes and lubed with Rock N Roll, applying it and letting it "dry" overnight before wiping off any excess. My seat of the pants impression is that it works well. After a few applications, the drivetrains are quiet and smooth and are staying surprisingly clean. This is on a mtb and a gravel bike where the mtb is all dirt and the gravel bike is 50/50 dirt/pavement. Personally, I don't think it's really necessary to clean off all other lube before applying this, and won't bother on our other bikes.

You can spend a lot of money these days on lubricants for bicycles. Most brands make all kinds of extravagant claims about how effective they are and why you should buy their high priced products. Rock N Roll Gold Chain lubricant offers great lubricant at a good price. I used this on my Cargo E-Bike and it immediately quieted a variety of squeaks and odd noises while making noticeable differences in friction reduction. It does not seem overly “gloopy” and has not attracted a lot of dust and dirt. I am happy with the performance of this lubricant.

Be sure to read the directions on the back of the bottle, as this product cleans as well as lubricates. Apply liberally then wipe down as indicated for best results. I find it to be an excellent value for the price.
