Does it fit gaggia clasic?

It fit perfectly on my Gaggia Classic Pro that I purchased new in 2021.

Does this 58mm size fit the Rancilio Silvia machine?

yes. I have a rancilio silva purchased in 2012. 58mm is the standard portafilter size.

what is the backflush insert for?. What is backflushing in the espresso machine?

Backflushing cleans-out the screen, brew group, and 3-way valve of your espresso machine. Machines with a 3-way valve relieve water pressure from your coffee and into the drip tray underneath. By using the "blind filter basket" (a.k.a. back-flush insert), you are building-up this water pressure and pushing the water with the cleaner back-up through the screen, brew group, and valve. Specific details on how to back-flush are found on several coffee enthusiast and coffee supply web sites. Backflushing is intended for machines with 3-way valves only.

will this work for my expobar lever semi-automatic?

Hi, and thank you for you question. Yes this 58 mm Backflush Disk would work. Thanks again,Spagsespresso

Great solid backflush insert! Good value!

This blind 58mm blackfish insert fits both my portafilters and works well! Makes backflushing easy.Solid and very durable. Great value for the money! Should only be used with machines with a 3 way solenoid valve.

Passt perfekt fuer Baby Gaggia 94
