As a minimalist, I have been looking around for a desk lamp for a while now. This lamp is exactly what I needed. One great feature that drew my attention to this lamp is that it is fitted with a clamp mount. I placed it towards the back of my desk giving me as much space on my desk as possible and maximizing the area when I need to work. . Very easy to move the arms around and get full light source on the entire work space. When I am not using my desk, I just fold up the arms on the lamp to a neat position. I am a huge fan of being able to dim lights. This lamp has this feature allowing different temperature adjustments. I often use the warm temperature feature in the evening with the timer to give the room a cozy ambience. Although the timer feature can be set to 10 or 40 minutes, it would be nice to have a remote control to also operate it. Its a very sturdy versatile lamp made out of a solid material that keeps stable without falling off or shifting around. Box came with an instruction booklet that was easy to understand. I am super satisfied with this purchase -even thinking about gifting one to my husband for his study. !

Ive been beating the crap out of this thing for a few years now. My biggest concern was the light burning out, but after 3 years of regular use it is STILL going strong! I love that it can change light temperatures for working on different artworks AND the adjustability is fantastic. And if I wanted to work at another table, its very easy to move! GREAT light for artists with makeshift art studios!

I was looking to upgrade my lighting situation for my craft desk, and thought a good positional-type light would be essential. Wanted something similar to what Adam Savage (Mythbusters) built on his Tested YT page but didn't want to spend $100+, so I started scouring Amazon. This one was actually my second choice, but my first choice was back-ordered and I needed to upgrade sooner rather than later. Shipping was QUICK, and installation was a breeze. I legit am unable to find any cons & have been using it for a week-ish now. It's super bright, easy to use, and the best part - it's (almost) infinitely positionable AND is super sturdy. There's no drooping (as of yet) - you can position it with one hand and it stays firm in that position. Couldn't be happier! (edit) - Want to add a couple photos but review page doesn't show this?

This light is very bright and it has a nice thin modern look to it. I would still recommend this product. But my issues is changing the brightness, after following the instructions, maybe I just haven’t found the sweet spot to adjusting the brightness without always turning the light off. But that’s the issue I’m having. Adjusting the temperature is very easy. I can adjust the brightness but it’s hit or miss and most of the time I end up turning the light off. I wish the controls were different, I like that they’re touch sensitive, but perhaps having individual buttons for the brightness and temperature would be helpful.

I now own two of these. They are well made, easy to operative, great options for color light and brightness and have lots of positions they can be in to put the light where you want it. None of those crazy springs we all remember from our first desk lamps, these are quiet, smooth and solid to position these at the right angle. The clamps are nice and solid once attached. I clamped these on a monitor shelf on my desk, and have them reaching over the monitors. This was only possible due to the many different angles these will accommodate. These are not the cheapest, but they are worth the price.

We couldn't be any happier with this light! It's light weight, but sturdy--does NOT feel cheaply made. Clamps onto the desk very securely. The light can be adjusted to shine at almost any angle whether to directly illuminate the desktop for doing tedious projects or just to shine indirectly against the wall as a backlight. There are many, many different brightness and color temperature settings, although we use the super bright setting most often. Only issue, if you can even call it an issue, is the power switch and the dimming switch take a little practice to master. But if you just read the instruction manual, you probably won't have any issue at all!

The exact location of the controls. There's a slightly sneaky aspect by the seller here, if it was more clearly shown I might have hesitated. So I included a photo showing this. I was hoping controls would be more towards the business end of this light, as in the top or end closest to you. As many other lamps of it's ilk are...or are touch controlled over the entire surface. This location sort of limits it's use to being accessible to the base controls. Where as I wanted to have the base tucked over there in a back corner, with the light over hanging a dual monitor system. Which the extension length and height are perfect for, longest I could find actually in it's class. I suppose this won't and does not bother many people...given the 5 star reviews (me included) and lack of mention of this. These hopeful assumptions being my fault...so I can't detract here. It's a well built, great aesthetic, highly functional, almost infinitely adjustable, bright, good color options, sleek, industrial-stylish, metal lamp. Even well grounded, no cycle hum on audio signal paths (something important to me and what I do). Just my opinion here, does not make a ton of sense given the overall design, very long arm extension for placing the concentration of light so distant from the controls: Why not just locate the controls at the light source if you can? Limits this lamp to side desk mount or bedside, work table, any location you can clearly get to the base...like a traditional lamp that's clearly defying traditional lamp operation by design. Regardless...I'll find a great spot for it I'm sure, just not the one I hoped for...which is why I took this little chance on it in the first place. It's all good.
