Right off the bat the mixed berry taste horrible I would advise you probably should get one that is unflavored. If that is a choice it seems to give me energy and I hadn’t used it for the gym just yet but as I stated it taste bad.

I've used numerous other Amino Acids pre and post workout and this is the best I've used. My muscle soreness is much reduced and the mixed berry tastes great. It mixes up best in a shaker bottle as it is a bit tangy if you don't have a way to mix it up.

This is an unreturnable item so sadly I am stuck with $50 worth of a truly horrible product. When I opened it, it smelled like mold or mildew. Just a nasty smell. Sometimes proteins get that so I gave it a try. OMG! The taste is so bad. It has a terrible sugar free after taste and is just plain nasty. I saw a review (unfortunately after I bought it:) that said it tasted like aspirin and watermelon rinds. Agreed but without the watermelon. I had the berry and the flavoring couldn't compete with the bitter edge. Take a pass and maybe go with the Sports Nutrition Multivitamin powder. Great product and what was I thinking by changing? Stick with reliable!!

Let’s be honest—leucine powder tastes terrible, regardless of the brand. That’s just the nature of leucine. It also doesn’t mix particularly well but again it’s all Lucine. That’s the nature of it, so if you’re very picky about taste, I’d recommend going with capsules instead.That said, for a leucine powder, this product is actually pretty good. The first time I tried it, I really didn’t like the taste. But by the second time, it was easier, and you definitely get more used to it.If you’re not getting enough protein in your diet—which is most people—I definitely think leucine is worth considering. Just don’t expect it to taste good! 😂Bottom line: If taste is a dealbreaker, buy the pills. If you can tolerate the taste, this is a solid leucine powder.

I have only been using it for two days.What I have experienced so far:Taste: Not bad for a supplement drink. My only complaint is that is doesn't mix (disolve) well with cold water.I have not had any side effects, but have also not felt any different. I don't really expect to see results in two days.

Even though I came across some lousy reviews for taste, I tried the Aminos anyway based upon Ben Greenfield’s name and reputation. I wasn’t disappointed. The Mixed Berry Powder is a fine white powder that mixed perfectly with a spoon and has a nice clean taste. I was prepared for some horrific bitterness so I braced myself. However, the taste was a pleasantly sweet, not too much, and I drank it alone with water. This product also gave me a lift and curved my appetite without the jitters I normally experience. The ingredient quantities are propriety. I personally hope to try all of his products one day and recommend this one. I am also grateful for all of his free content.

This is the only brand of aminos I have tried so I have nothing to compare it to but as someone new to aminos the taste is pretty bad but still can be stomached! I just mix it in my water and throw it back. I use. my frother to mix it so it blends perfectly. I can tell a notable difference when using this as my pre work out. Very happy with this product and will continue to use it!

Fantastic product, not sweet like other electrolyte, amino drinks. i put one scoop in 400-500ml and its not sweet at all. Love the feel and definitely supports recovery
