Replaced the stems in my old leaky Crane faucet. These fit perfectly, operate smoothly, and are leak free.

Good product for the money. Couldn't find these anywhere. I'm glad Amazon has these for old faucet style. Never leak again.

Mine went out and the hot water kept pouring out the faucet it caused my gas and water bill to skyrocket. My landlord couldn’t find the part anywhere I found it on Amazon came in a couple days put it in and worked great. Water and gas bill went down. Hard to find part for sure

We just moved into a house that was built in 1958. The hot water had a really bad leak. We were quoted $480.00 by a plumbing company to fix it because the original cartridge was so old and he told us a new one would be hard to find. My husband went on Amazon and found the piece which only cost $8. We received it in just a few days. It only took less than 1/2 an hour of my husband's time to fix it. Problem solved. It's a perfect fit! The only change we made was the O ring that came with the cartridge was too big, fortunately we just replaced it with a slightly smaller one. For the amount of money we saved it still deserves a 5 star rating!

Didn’t think I’d be able to find something to work for my shower from the 70’s but these worked like a charm! I had tried several local stores in town including Home Depot. Home Depot had a similar product but apparently couldn’t order it for me. I found these here on Amazon which really surprised me and I bought two for the price of one, and they worked like a charm!

Exact fit and works perfect to replace the old stem that someone used a grip-type handle on it that ground down the stem until a handle won't stay on the stem and won't work at all with the original handles.

I’ll have to replace these. Don’t allow proper file.

I have ordered over 20+ of these items over the years and it remains to be the best. I have a older home (1947) and it is full of these types of Crane Products which were a premium product back then. The problem is finding them and at a reasonable price (thank you Amazon). I have found they wear out between the stem and the rubber seal but it is due to the caustic water (zinc) that actually corrodes the stem such that there is not way they will seal and need to be replaced. My main concern is Amazon generally list them as a next day delivery for ordering one however when you order two or more the delivery times goes to at least 2 days if not more. On many occasions when I order the one for a next day delivery it rarely if ever is delivered next day which is my biggest appointment.

Different types of Crane faucets with handles pointing in the same direction (forwards or upwards) may use this cartridge, but the hot and cold sides are the same being "Hot Water Stem". In that case you wouldn't need a "Cold Water Stem". The main sealing washers are softer than some others which means less force is needed to seal. Longevity of the seals is unknown but the product appears to be well made with good materials.

Worked perfectly

Stem is loose in the cartridge, it chatters when closing. Have to turn it farther than a Crane cartridge to get water to flow. Wouldn't buy again.
