thank u, next is the 5th studio album from Ariana Grande. Released in 2019, the album has been certified double-platinum and features the smash hits "thank u, next" (#1), "7 rings" (#1), and "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored," (#2). With her powerful vocals and astonishing range, Ariana Grande has emerged as one of the most magnetic and massively successful performers in pop music today. Review: How could you expect anything less? - Among Ariana Grande’s countless strengths is her ability to leverage what the tabloids are saying about her to to make her songs more vulnerable and personal than virtually any of her peers. A lot of pop music is written at a distance—a vague story of a difficult relationship or a zoomed-out retelling of a chance encounter. Ariana, though, takes the news generated by her very public persona and extends (or controls) the narrative with masterfully crafted lyrics that share a not-so-subtle glimpse of her perspective on the matters fans are already familiar with. “Thank u, next,” of course, provided a prompt press release addressing her break-up with Pete Davidson and what’s next (literally) for her, and the entirety of this album exhibits a similar quality to other heavily publicized events in her life. To that end, listening to an Ariana record feels like you’ve been invited into her inner circle, serving as a confidant for her most intimate thoughts and fears. By virtue of this point alone, it’s difficult not to love her work. It would be like letting down a friend. Of course, Ariana Grande’s talent extends way beyond her lyrical brilliance. Her hooks are among pop’s most infectious, combining empowering messages with addicting melodies and punchy tempos. And her vocals are unmistakeable and reliably superb, transitioning effortlessly from steamy sex appeal to ethereal mourning to playful flirtation. The singles are as good as advertised, but there isn’t so much as a single track here that is even forgettable let alone sub-par. Even the songs that haven’t garnered the same critical attention—like the heartbreaking and exquisite “ghostin”—are worthy of being put on repeat. I can’t imagine that there are many other prospective converts to the church of Ariana left out there. Increasingly, her name is becoming a great equalizer; people hardly ever ask, “Do you like Ariana Grande” anymore, opting instead to assume that everyone does. So she probably does not need anymore five-star reviews like this, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve them. She is an artist who lives with compassion, writes music with heart, and thrives at the intersection between the two. Review: One of Ariana’s top albums! - Came wrapped up like a baby. I love the protection the seller put on it. They even left me a cute little note. CD came in as good as new and works perfectly. Thank you for your service adamlin.

Amazing album
This is definitely one of Ariana’s best albums and probably her most personal. Her voice like usual is beautiful, I do feel like the usage of trap in some of the tracks is a bit much and takes away from her voice but other than that it’s amazing. CD came in pretty much perfect condition other than having a few scratches on the case.

It's Ari.. What more do you need? buy it.
Another great album from Ariana.. I really enjoyed Sweetener, that album has some great records, I first became a fan of Arianas music when I heard The Way.. it was a Big Pun sample and Ariana sounded like Mariah Carey on it at times, I couldn't believe this was Cat from Nickelodeon singing like this.. Lol. She's come a long way since then and I've enjoyed each album more than the last from Yours Truly to My Everything, Dangerous Woman, Sweetener and now this one. The stand out song for me on this album is NASA.. I love that record, so well produced and the lyrics are surprisingly good considering it's pop Lol. This is the song I listen to the most, it's just a banger. My second favorite song is probably In my head.. again, another banger and excellent vocals. From there 7 rings which is the 2nd single, another track with stellar production, the lead single and tittle record Thank u, next is pretty good as well and once again, surprisingly good lyrics. I'm not going to drone on and on just know that I enjoy the album, I bought the physical copy and the mp3 version just so I could listen to it right away Lol.. it's that good. So if you're interested my personal ranking and recommendation of the tracklist in order from best to not so great (make up is honestly the only song on this album I really don't like..) is as follows: 1. NASA 2. In my head 3. 7 Rings 4. Ghostin 5. Thank u, next 6. Bad idea 7. Break up with your girlfriend 8. bloodline 9. Needy 10. Imagine 11. Fake Smile 12. Make up

A step in the right direction. An improvement over "Sweetener"
As you can tell I wasn't over the moon about "Sweetener". I thought it had some okay cuts, but it lacked strong hooks. Prior to this album I was over the moon for "Dangerous Woman". I honestly think that album was Grande's best work. The songs were catchy. I could listen to "Everyday", "Sometimes" and "Side to Side" and never get tired of them. When "Sweetener" came out I noticed a lack of structure to the songs in general. There just weren't enough hooks and it meandered too frequently. It honestly was a slight let down. Ariana's first release to leave something to be desired. "Sweetener" was her least satisfying release at least since her debut album. She tried it though. On this album the hooks are back. Thank God! I really adore this album. At first I didn't know that a new album was coming out. Then I saw it here on Amazon and frantically ordered this one. I like this album. It's much better than "Sweetener". The thing with "Thank U, Next" (the album, not the song) is that it goes back to her old formula. She's got the hooks again. The songs are catchier. The albums shorter and what the album lacks in quantity it redeems in quality. The song "Thank U, Next" has been called a bop. I don't think so. I was never over the moon about that song. Maybe it'll grow on me. I love "7 Rings"! Now, that's what I call a bop! It's like her last Christmas album in that she goes for an urban sound. I love it! Other tracks on the album I enjoy are "NASA". I like how creative they are with the song. They never say NASA as one word. Instead they spell it out: N-A-S-A. It's very clever according to my book It's hood. There are some bops. There's not a lot of ballads. It's mostly up-tempos, but I love how this album sounds. Ariana sounds great and she's using her voice this time instead of just laying in the groove, which she did a lot on "Sweetener". That was actually likely one of the reasons I wasn't fond of that release. She righted the wrongs with this album. I love "Bad Idea", "Break Up with Your Girlfriend" and even my mom loves "Bloodline". Bloodline is so catchy and I think it really needs to be released as a single. It reminds me of "Bad Decisions". There's so much to recommend on this album. Not all of the songs grab me, but in general this is an improvement over the previous album and the songs (all of them) are of better quality. Ariana is on a roll. I highly recommend this album and the "Dangerous Woman" release.

Das Album des Jahres? Aufjeden Fall!!
