Touchstones Color Change

I had these when I was a teen back in the 90s. I carried one as a good luck charm/autistic fiddle toy for the better part of 10 years. When the liquid crystal inside the last one finally leaked out, I was devastated. I've missed them ever since, but they're really scarce here in Canada. Despite it being a bit costly and something I really can't justify buying, I am so glad I did. I had missed it so much. Shipping was amazingly quick and they had packaged it so well. Thanks!

I grew up in the Mall shop era and once saw these at the specialty science stores. I love everything color change! Can’t decide if I’m leaving it as is, or turn it into a pendant. Took one star off cause the stone is a different color that what is pictured (it’s pink).

This is only red. The backing is red and that makes the whole thing red. I tried to contact seller through the messaging and did not receive a response. I was extremely disappointed. I had one as a kid and it changed colors. The backing was silver which allowed all colors to show. I did not want to send back and order another one because seller would not respond and I didn't want another crappy red one. This is kind of pointless. You can't see the color changes because of the red plastic. It only goes from red to purple. Looks nothing like picture.

its basically a piece of round plastic to magnify the back sticker. not temp changing mor of a 3d effect.... super cute for the price and it will make a super special 6 year old happy when he checks his stalking:) remember when reveiwing things this is directed for a kid and as so its awesome! MAGICAL

Exactly what I was looking for. I had one as a kid and had no idea there were different colors. I've been looking for these to show my daughter and it was an exhaustive, fruitless search for quite a while. Glad I finally found some and as I figured, my daughter loves them.

mine don't work... I think its broke... I see what looks like liquid but it don't move much and it never changes color... that was what I most expected it to do since it does read color change in the title. I don't think the seller is at fault its just not worth the fuss to send back or ask for a refund. I have a pretty blue marble... and the box is cute.

The clear box was a nice thing...to put something else in. This is just a magnifying glass glued to the top of something that doesn't seem all that thermochromic, just possibly mostly liquid crystal under a plastic membrane that pops. I would have given this to a kid to play around with if I was somewhat sure the fluid wasn't toxic. Nah.

So tiny you need a magnifying glass to find it, I was very disappointed, not at all like the one I had as a kid
