Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Lip Cream, Chapped Lip Balm

This one of my favorite and must have beauty products. Works so quickly for chapped lips and just keeping my lips soft every day. The formula isn’t sticky at all and you can really feel how hydrating and nourishing it is

I’ve ordered this three times now! It’s so luxe and works amazingly!

I’ve been using this for close to a year and it is amazing for my super sensitive and dry skin. I have perioral dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and rosacea and live in Minnesota with bitter cold and the heater running over half the year. Cicalfate cream doesn’t flare any of these and it helps reduce redness and completely resolves dry skin. I use about a pea size amount AM and PM,, apply to dry skin, massage in, then mist with the Avene thermal water spray. Although the cream is thick, the slight white cast absorbs within a few minutes. I do not wear foundation so I don’t know how this affects it.it doesn’t burn my eyes and I’m a contact lens wearer. A big tube of cream lasts me the better part of a year.

I’m so addicted to this lip balm!!! If you have secret chapped lips this will fix it in a day or two!!! And even if u don’t, it keeps your lips soooo soft!!! A bit pricey but it goes on sale a lot so watch for that.

I desperately needed a healing lip balm for my perpetually chapped and scarred lips, and at first was skeptical that this was nothing but a glorified aquaphor, which works well enough for me but I was curious about better treatments. After some weeks of regular use, my lips feel incredible. I am sold. I only wish two things: that it was a smidgen cheaper, and that there was a version with SPF so I could have one to wear out during the day and have it’s magic working all the time.

New formula update: They ruined this product by reformulating. Used to be so hydrating, long-lasting, and the only thing that gave me relief from eczema. Now it is somehow SO drying, oily, and all around terrible. Judging by reviews here and on their website many customers are unhappy with the change. Done with Avene.Original five star review: This is a great all around lip balm, but if you struggle with perioral dermatitis/eczema then you NEED this. If I'm experiencing a flare, I slather on cicalfate+ at night but I can't exactly walk around with that during the day which is where this lip product comes in. It is calming, hydrating, and long-lasting. I have gone through more tubes than I can count. This was my first time ordering through amazon and I am happy to report I received authentic Avene.

Der Lippen Balsam ist eine sehr interessante Pflege für trockene, gereizte oder strapazierte Lippen. Gerade wenn normale Lippenpflege nicht mehr ausreicht, wirkt ein Repair-Balsam sinnvoll, weil er nicht nur kurzzeitig geschmeidig machen soll, sondern die Lippenbarriere gezielter unterstützt. Die 12-ml-Größe ist handlich und passt gut in Handtasche, Nachttisch oder Jackentasche.Die Formulierung mit Avène Thermalwasser und Cicalfate+-Technologie passt gut zu empfindlicher Haut. Avène ist ohnehin stark auf sensible Haut ausgerichtet, und der Repair-Ansatz ist besonders praktisch bei rissigen, spannenden oder durch Kälte, Wind, Sonne oder häufiges Lippenlecken belasteten Lippen. Die Angabe von 96 % natürlichen Inhaltsstoffen ist zusätzlich positiv, wobei für mich bei Lippenpflege vor allem zählt, dass sie gut verträglich ist und nicht unnötig reizt.Von der Wirkungsweise her sehe ich den Balsam vor allem als schützende und regenerationsunterstützende Pflege. Er soll Feuchtigkeit bewahren, die Lippen vor weiterem Austrocknen schützen und gereizte Stellen beruhigen. Gerade bei Lippenprodukten ist ein gewisser Schutzfilm wichtig, weil die Lippen kaum eigene Talgdrüsen haben und deshalb schneller austrocknen als andere Hautbereiche. Die sehr wasserfeste Formulierung kann dabei helfen, dass die Pflege länger auf den Lippen bleibt und nicht sofort verschwindet.In der Anwendung würde ich den Balsam eher dünn, aber regelmäßig auftragen. Besonders sinnvoll ist er vor dem Schlafengehen, vor dem Rausgehen bei kaltem oder windigem Wetter oder immer dann, wenn die Lippen bereits spannen. Bei sehr rissigen Lippen würde ich nicht ständig daran reiben oder peelende Produkte verwenden, sondern eher konsequent pflegen und der Haut Zeit geben, sich zu beruhigen.Insgesamt wirkt der AVÈNE Cicalfate+ Lippen Repair-Balsam auf mich wie eine hochwertige und sinnvolle Pflege für trockene und gereizte Lippen. Er ist weniger ein hübscher Duft- oder Glanz-Lippenbalsam, sondern eher ein funktionales Pflegeprodukt mit Schutz- und Reparaturanspruch. Wer empfindliche oder schnell strapazierte Lippen hat, bekommt hier aus meiner Sicht eine sehr gute Option für die tägliche und intensive Lippenpflege.

Compré esta crema de labios de Avène porque tenía los labios bastante mal por el ambiente seco, el frío y quizá también por estar un poco bajo de defensas. Llevaba varios días sin notar mejoría con diferentes barras labiales, así que decidí probarla. No sé si fue por el producto o porque ya tocaba que se curaran, pero el caso es que me funcionó y se me recuperaron. No diría que es milagrosa, pero sí que me parece que ayuda bastante. Desde entonces la uso la mayoría de días.La textura es tipo crema, se absorbe rápido y no deja residuos. Me gusta que no tiene ese acabado aceitoso estilo “gloss” que dejan algunas barras. Para mí ha sido una buena opción para mantener los labios hidratados sin sensación pegajosa.

Todo excelente
