KNOG Boomer Wearable Rear Light

Aside from the fact that they use LED and I can use rechargeable batteries*, I like the colors available for this rear bike lamp, which gives off a bright red light for my city hybrid's nighttime commutes. Its clip has kept it on the back pocket of my Basil pannier--although I imagine that it could be accidentally knocked off, with sufficient force. I haven't had use for its magnetic attachment, but like the idea that I could use it on a light jacket or backpack, if necessary. I also got the Knog Boomer *USB-rechargeable front lamp (both lamps in hot pink). Keeping the cases clean and not sticky hasn't been an issue; I just wipe them down while batteries recharge.

The whole magnet attachment thing is an ok concept but in reality just doesn't work. You can't move the mount from bike to bike, but the light does clip nicely to a bag strap or your pants/belt. For that purpose its great. I also don't know why it has to have so many different flashing setting makes it a process to turn off. That said the leds are super bright so you will be noticed. Especially when you want into a bar and forget to turn it off.

Sometimes gets stuck on for days even if I take the batteries out. It works well through rain however and is one of the only white bike light options.

This light has a good bright flash and an attractive design. Unfortunately the clip which holds it to fabric wasn't up to the job, and my rear light fell off twice within the first week of use, and I missed spotting it the 2nd time. Good bye Knog. I am trying another light now (Portland) which seems to be more secure. (If you like your Knog consider zip-tying it if possible.)

as others have said, magnet really only works in the tightest pinch on the thinnest fabric. the clip however holds its own. i've had mine clipped on the flap of a Chrome bag all winter. it moves about, but stays put.

Very bright and good quality. East to change the modes, as essentially the entire bottom half of the light is a button. I attached mine to a Chrome messenger bag using the clip (not the magnet), but also threaded a safety pin though just in case it were to fall off.The magnet provided would work for thin cycling clothing, but not anything heaver.

Love the product. This is my third one. Bought it for my daughter for when she walks down our road very early in the morning since it is still somewhat dark. I have been using this product for years.

I really like this light. It has 4 different settings that strobe in different patterns. I can't really describe the patterns as the light is really bright and you can't really look at it too long.

I wish there was a similar item as front light

Very powerful red light which is easy to use. I have fitted it to a rucksac and have since used it on a daily basis
