These are the same footprint as the Gotoh GB7 and Grover 144. Unlike some other reviews, mine came beautifully packaged in a sturdy box with Musiclily's branding. Also unlike others, the mounting screws and tuning post are very good quality and METAL. Only one of the tuners has any noticeable slop, but you really can't complain for $20. The only disappointment I experienced is that the actual button isn't the same as a GB7 when it comes to the diameter of the shaft it attaches to. No biggie. The tuners work well, they look great, and the price is right.

I needed to replace three of the tuners on my Ibanez bass. II didn't want to spend a ton of money on the repairs since I'm not much of a player. I was pretty amazed by these when they arrived! Well built, smooth turning, great chrome finish and a drop-in precision fit for my bass! I would definitely recommend these and avoid the higher-priced tuners!

I'm a guitarist and songwriter recording my work at home, and I have an old Ibanez SR300DX bass that a friend had given me. One of the tuning heads was broken, so I ordered a set of these. I had wanted to order the Guykers, but they would have taken too long to get here so I went with the cheapies, and I am not at all sorry. They were a breeze to install, they're solidly made, they fit perfectly, and they have held the strings in perfect tune since I restrung the bass. I highly recommend these tuners if you're on a tight budget.

These tuners fit great and work as they should. I would have given them 5 stars, but 2 out of 3 packs were missing the screws. Not a deal breaker, but do better Musiclily.

Direct fit

These were cheap but they seem to stay in tune just fine so far. I’m not an amazing bassist so I didn’t want to spend money on a brand name tuner. I do play guitar though and I build guitars The metal feels a bit cheap and I really can’t say how long they will last in the long run but for the money I didn’t know if they would even stay in tune. That could be a bass guitar thing though idk. I just record a little bass here and there in my home studio and one of my stock machines broke on my beginner Ibanez. So far so good with these. Don’t tour with em but they’re fine for me. Haha.

These are well built and I used them to replace old tuners on a cheap base I had. They are slightly larger than the original tuner; but, boring the hole out just a bit was quick and painless. I have several sets of Musicilly tuners on my budget guitars, and find them to be totally up to the job. These might not be great for high end basses; but, anything else, they work fine.
