It worked ot of the box, interfacing mini display port flying lead to a USB-C port on my 2020 Apple Mini M1 running under Ventura 13.4. I use for video only display on the the Apple LED Cinema Display and output sound elsewhere. There are no visible artifacts using the default 2560x1440 resolution and the computer's Displays setting automatically defaulted 'Colour Profile' to 'LED Cinema Display'.

Good product, well built - most importantly it works and it’s cheaper than anything else you could buy from Apple. There are similar products for less out there but this really works making me very happy!!

Having bought a new MacBook obviously knew the adapter pain was coming, but didn’t realise Apple didn’t even make one of these. I have TWO of the Cinema Display screens I use so after research was recommended this and it works a treat. As others / reviews have said are a almost not noticeable short strip of dead / erroneous pixels at the top of the screen but only whilst using finder I noticed and I didn’t even clock it to begin with.

Works just as planned ! MacBook Pro 2018 USB-C to Thunderbolt mini-display port connection. Allows me to use as extra screen without any problems.

Although this adapter is expensive, I purchased it to connect my new MacBook Pro 2018 15" to my old Apple 24" Cinema Displays (DisplayPort version). Amazing, it worked perfectly! I love it so much that I have just bought another one. Highly recommended.

I bought this adapter to plug my LED Cinema Display 27 to my 2020 Macbook Pro 16. It kind of works, but I would get a lot of glitches at random times. I changed to a hub from Hyper which connects to both usb-c ports, and no more glitches. The hub also supports up to 100w of charging, which is perfect for the Macbook Pro 16. It's more expensive, but it was impossible to work with this adapter.

Après avoir tester plusieurs adapteurs, celui-ci est le seul qui fonctionne pour moi pour relier mon vieux moniteur apple avec un macbook pro nouvelle génération (2024). Pas de scintillement ou de saut d'images. On verra à l'usage.

I went through four different adapters before I settled on this. And it worked straight away, at full resolution without me having to do anything. I have a Mac mini 2018 and an Apple 30" Cinema Display - the hardest thing was getting the two to connect together. I first went for the cheapest which failed, sent it back, ordered something more expensive which also failed and so on until this - this just worked. I didn't even have to connect an extra cable to the spare USB-C slot on the adapter. I highly recommend this.

Was able to use my 30” Apple Cinema Display with this adapter together with Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter. Get full 2560x1600 resolution

After purchasing, I used this item to connect a 2010 Apple Cinema display with a Mini Displayport connector to a Thunderbolt-4 connector on a 2024 Mac mini M4. It worked perfectly, without a glitch. The monitor appears to have full capabilities, after also connecting the monitor’s USB type-A connector to an ancillary dock on the same Mac. That last action enables the camera and the ability to have adjustable audio output from the monitor’s speakers.

Funciona perfecto para conectar un Apple Cinema de 23 pulgadas a un iMac 2019. Compre un par de marcas distintas y no funcionaron. Este funciona perfecto.
