I actually use these on the foredeck of larger boats. As long as your foot fits well, they're reasonably grippy. They don't breathe, but a set of polypro socks can help with that. There are better shoes and boots available, but for the weekend sailor the price/performance on these is unbeatable.

Supper grippy boots that work well on deck. They run a little small and I switched out the foot bed (thankfully replaceable) to give myself more room. I would buy a full size bigger in these. Also, by themselves they have no real insulation so consider your socks and any extra room they may need.

I really like that they're waterproof and very solid to hike off of, but I've only had them for a couple months and they're already showing some wear. I also don't like that the bottoms of these aren't super grippy

I'm a 10.5 US so I bought a 9.5 UK. They run just a bit small (no warm socks with these!).

Boots are great! good grip, hard wearing and good support when hiking. They keep your feet warm too. My only criticism is that they are a bit tricky to get on and off but this can be made easier by wearing socks.
