Very sturdy
I use it while flying in extreme weather conditions. I've used many other anemometers but none of them lasted very much in hot dusty or hot humid environments. This one has been going strong for a long time now. Very accurate too, i know because it correlates well with local weather updates/wind socks.

The device gives out random values as long as the blades are moving. Its a joke.
