We've let other kids play with them, and it's helped pass the time while waiting.One major suggestion is to make sure you have 6 pieces every time you finish playing with them (like the dr's ready to see you now), so you're scrambling to make sure you have your 6 pieces, and actually put them back together in order right then and there. Otherwise you'll be searching your bag to make sure you had 6 pieces later. So far we haven't lost one, but hubs doesn't always put it back together, and it's a real pain to go searching for tiny pieces, so I put it back together each time and in the bag before we leave.
