This is a great timer that is accurate and has about almost 50 ft range.. Our track is about 20 ft wide and it has never not picked up a lap that I know of. Get a second one of the these and use the extra beacon for sector timing !!!!! As a mechanic I just made a little bracket to mount the timer on. Then it can just slip on and off any car I want to time or tune without setting up races on the main system.. Great Item !!!!
