For single glazed windows you would probably need to adjust it fully out, then wind them in until you can move.the glider freely across the window. I'm glad I bought this version with varied magnet strengths. It's easy to increase the magnetic grip if the outside part looks insecure. I just use the cloths with a weakish detergent solution first, and then rinse cloths thoroughly and go over the windows again with plain water. I was surprised with how clean the windows look. No smears. So, compared to that, I suppose the cost isn't quite so exorbitant. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works, but can be a bit of workout! *by Z***Z on 27 June 2023* So bough this to use on upstair Velux windows which are at angle. Have tried other methods before, but the D4 has definitely been the only product that has helped clean the outside of the window at the same time, which I would normally never be able to effectively reach and clean properly. For the gliding to be easy you do need to put liquid on both sides of the window, sometimes this isn't ideal if the window is on top of you/ on the roof, but to get around dripping cleaner on me, I used the the microfibre cloth on the inside and cleaner on the outside. The magnets are very strong, so need to use them with care, they can separated if they come together (support were very helpful) , the magnets can also end up magnetising other metals near by, so need to watch out for that. One of the dials was faulty on mine after a single use, but again Customer Support have been great with prompt responses and will be sending a me a replacement.
