Review: Very Sharp! - Excellent folding saw from Silky. First time that I've bought a Silky product. Saw this on the 'Crazy Russian Hacker' YouTube videos (he's very entertaining, BTW). He recommended this and I'm not disappointed. Folds quite small, with a nice hard plastic transparent case. The blade is wickedly sharp and cut through a two inch branch in about 5 seconds. I cleaned it after use and cut my finger when wiping the side, so be careful! The teeth stick out of the side slightly - probably what makes it so efficient. A comfortable hard plastic grip with a solid weighty feel to the saw. The blade is good quality and doesn't bend or feel flimsy. I'm glad that i purchased this. This is a great little saw to keep in your gardening toolkit. This review relates to the yellow one with the biggest teeth. I'm looking to get the medium or small size as this will probably be more suitable for other jobs (e.g. planks of wood), where a neat cut would be required. This would also be great to put in your survival pack as the case makes it safe to carry and it's very small considering how powerful it is. Would thoroughly recommend it - a fantastic little saw!!! ## Features - Crafted from the highest quality materials - Built for performance and durability - Made in Japan ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B077Z3KKSR | | Best Sellers Rank | 211,162 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 325 in Handsaws | | Blade Length | 5 Inches | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Serrated | | Blade material | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Silky | | Colour | Orange | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 804 Reviews | | Cutting Angle | 60 Degrees | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04903585726135 | | Handle Material | Rubber | | Included Components | replacement blade 727-13 | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 7L x 2.2W x 1H centimetres | | Item Type Name | fixed blade, hunting knife, outdoor, camping | | Item Weight | 227 g | | Manufacturer | Silky Saws | | Model Number | 347-13 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 7 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Curved blade with pull cut technology | | Part Number | 726-13 | | Power source | Corded Electric | | Special feature | Curved blade with pull cut technology | | Surface Recommendation | Wood | | Surface recommendation | Wood | | Warranty Type | Limited Warranty | ## Product Details - **Blade material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Silky - **Colour:** Orange - **Power source:** Corded Electric - **Surface recommendation:** Wood ## Images ![Saws PocketBoy Curve Professional Folding Saw 130mm Large Teeth - 726-13 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Uz1y64m7L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I have a stick camp stove, so 130 mm should be OK, however I need to sometimes cut down standard lengthwise split firewood, is this too short?** A: The silky pocket boy would cut through 130 mm of wood or branch like butter In my opinion. But If I’m trying to make kindling then I use my Bark River Bravo 1.25 in 3V or my Gransfors Bruk forest axe **Q: Does this item come with a sheath?** A: It's more of a clear hard plastic hinged bubble then a sheath. I carry it in my front or back pants pocket, and sometimes coat pocket depending on what I'm doing. Tucked in a pack would be fine too the blade doesn't fall open. **Q: Are the curved blade and the straight blade interchangable with the same handle?** A: Ive never tried to change mine because the blade is way sharp and durable and hasn't given me any reason to change it. I'd just buy one of each, straight and curved silky saws **Q: can the back of the knife be used on fire steel?** A: Yes, it can! I just tested it with a ferro rod blank from Treibacher, and it works like a champ. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You'll love it and want more.i hear there is an outback version also 🤕 *by M***E on 23 April 2026* Awsome addition to a bunch of amazing pull saws...not too heavy In pocket ..very handy..very strong as short thick blade...so strong and sturdy its basically a push saw too . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Sharp! *by M***N on 16 July 2020* Excellent folding saw from Silky.
