Review: OEM part works perfectly - I also have the Delta Lahara faucet (in a house I moved into), and like many others I also had to go down the rabbit hole of learning about how different years' models of this same faucet design used different stem valves, and the fact that my sink was probably installed about 15-20 years ago, meaning the one I'd need for MY model was NOT the same part the Delta website says I want, because that's based on their CURRENT model. This was complicated by the fact that I couldn't find a 3/32 Allen wrench to remove the set screw on the handle and actually pull out the unit and check it, until I had the opportunity to go buy another set of hex wrenches. Finally I was able remove the handle and take out the existing stem valve and visually compare with the pictures and I could confirm which one was the right one for me. On a whim, I went to Ace hardware to check out compatible replacements, but the one they had used a plastic stem all the way through, not brass, and I felt that would be a downgrade as long as I'm replacing a part on an expensive faucet. One visual difference is that the part I was replacing had black plastic for the lower half of the assembly, and white plastic on the upper part, while this replacement part uses white plastic across the entire body. But the color of the plastic isn't relevant to the design of the part, and this RP25513 Stem Assembly is definitely the one I needed, so I ordered it. But I ALSO ordered the RP77737 Seats and Springs kit, because some of the reading I'd done said that even with a new stem, if you don't replace the seat & spring you might still not solve the leak, and solving the regular drip was the whole reason we were doing this to begin with. I'd watched multiple videos on youtube to understand how to do the replacement, and felt relatively confident in doing it.
