Its nice. But the photography/food styling is a little weird. They did the ingredients laid out seperately, as you would when preparing the recipe. That’s fine but its just kind of gross when it is something like raw squid!! But why tho! The pictures of the recipes as the finished result are much better as you can see what to expect.

I bought this cookbook and really liked some of the recipes such as the chicken tagine with olives & lemon, lemon chicken and rice soup, and tangy braised brisket.  The honey-ginger pork w/ braised kale was horrible, however.  What a waste!Just a note:  There are at least 20, if not more, of the exact same recipes in this book as in the William Sonoma Essentials of Slow Cooking.  Pretty much same cookbook with a different cover!

Tried few dishes already and they all been delicious. I like that this book has a lot of curry dishes and recipes with a lot of spices which I really like and the aroma is great when I cook them in the slow cooker.
