So much easier to crack eggs on and contains mess when you do so you are not getting egg running down bowls etc. I use it almost daily it has help up very well and washes up in the dishwasher great. I love that it is small too and doesn't take up a lot of room in the cabinet. Plus it comes in lots of great colors! I have loved it so much I am buying it for gifts and telling everyone I know! I have had this for about a year now, it is absolutely awesome! So much easier to crack eggs on and contains mess when you do so you are not getting egg running down bowls etc. I use it almost daily it has help up very well and washes up in the dishwasher great. I love that it is small too and doesn't take up a lot of room in the cabinet. Plus it comes in lots of great colors! I have loved it so much I am buying it for gifts and telling everyone I know! Why did you pick this product vs others?: Thought this would be a fun gift for my husband who eats eggs every morning. However, it turned out to be a seriously great little kitchen tool. We both love the way this makes a clean break in the shell every single time, which makes opening up the eggs a breeze- without any stray shell fragments! As a bonus, the little plate acts to catch any drips after the shell is broken on the raised ridge. It’s almost insane how much we love this quirky little tool.
