After letting this cure for 4 hours (and some persuasion with the heat gun), I brushed on a NON penetrating (very important that you do not use penetrating) stain then once dry, a matte polyurethane topcoat. Taping the wall and stone base took most of the time. This is my first experience using any of these products and did not practice at all before starting this job. Spend some time watching youtube videos and you should be good. No steps were difficult or technical at all, just a little time consuming working slowly to not make any mistakes like missing any spots or wasting materials because i ordered a little less than i was comfortable with. I have turned down so many neighbors and friends (that asked me to do this for them).
