But as far as "actual" instructions no, kinda had to figure that out - which is how I found out that this product wouldn't work for my type of clock. I had to return it and actually get my clock repaired at a clock shop. **Q: Can i use my own clock hands? (just use the mechanism to replace an old one?)** A: You should be able to, because the hands are friction mounted If you can push it onto the shaft, and it will stay, then it should work **Q: Thank you all for answering my question. I have the hands in place, nicely parallel, the battery snapped in and nothing. No go. What now?** A: Not sure would have to see the hole you place the clock piece into. Maybe you have not slipped it all the way through the hole or you might have the hole too small. **Q: Can you add the second hand to any of the styles?** A: The Styles I received both had the option to add the second hand.
