Review: Easy install, anyone can do it, lots of videos online. - Ok so I purchased this for my Wife and her F150 2013 ECO BOOST. Now I purchased a different remote control starter kit that claimed to be plug and play before however it was not.. and would not work even 10% of the time, so I was sceptical about this easy start remote starter kit. Suprisingly it installed very quickly and worked the very first time I attempted to start the truck. Three presses of the lock button and the truck starts right up. To turn the truck off without getting in you have to press the lock button again three times and it will shut down. Be carefull when exiting the car and going into a store or work as Ive had the turck start up and it will run for about 10 Minutes before the computer will shut it down unless you notice and turn it off yourself. Another thing I have noticed is if you remote start the truck and get in, decide you arent going anywhere and havent moved the vehicle you will not be able to turn it off with the key... you have to press the lock button three times or just move the car forward or backward then put it back in park and it will turn off with the key. Strange but whatever I suppose, all in all its been a god send for my wife in the mornings with a frozen truck window that will defrost from the comfort of the kitchen lol. It does have limited range, of whatever you can get your keyfob to lock the doors at lol, mine is about 40 feet or so. We park right infront of the house so it works great. Very happy with the overall application of the remote starter.

After putting in a new stereo with navigation and a backup camera a few weeks ago, I decided it was time for a remote start system. I did some research and this seems like a great value...good reviews for a good price. I made a great choice. Installation took me about 30 minutes. (Once I was able to start because I had to order a 5.5mm socket to get my steering column shroud apart.) Once the harness was installed, the control unit programmed on the first attempt and the the remote start worked as advertised from the beginning. I can't rate tech support because I did not need it. The included instructions are not very clear, but if you watch the video on the desertcart product description and take a few minutes on Google/YouTube...it is not hard to figure out how to install this harness.

A: This works well on a 2104 Ford Edge, not sure the differences in electronics if any.

**Q: I bought my Ford Escape used with only 1 key fob. Is there a way around "2 keys required"?**
A: With this remote start if you have the same one that I have you only need one key but if you want to program two keys yes you'll have to have it

**Q: will this work on a 2012 E-250?**
A: check the manual there it says the years and models to install them

**Q: Does your lights come on when using the remote starter**
A: Yes if it is on auto the headlights will if it is dark outside.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy install, anyone can do it, lots of videos online.

Ok so I purchased this for my Wife and her F150 2013 ECO BOOST. Now I purchased a different remote control starter kit that claimed to be plug and play before however it was not.. and would not work even 10% of the time, so I was sceptical about this easy start remote starter kit. Suprisingly it installed very quickly and worked the very first time I attempted to start the truck. Three presses of the lock button and the truck starts right up. To turn the truck off without getting in you have to press the lock button again three times and it will shut down. Be carefull when exiting the car and going into a store or work as Ive had the turck start up and it will run for about 10 Minutes before the computer will shut it down unless you notice and turn it off yourself. Another thing I have noticed is if you remote start the truck and get in, decide you arent going anywhere and havent moved the vehicle you will not be able to turn it off with the key... you have to press the lock button three times or just move the car forward or backward then put it back in park and it will turn off with the key. Strange but whatever I suppose, all in all its been a god send for my wife in the mornings with a frozen truck window that will defrost from the comfort of the kitchen lol. bought this for my 2013 Ford Explorer. first time i tried installing it, i was having issues with it trying to start with a notice on my dash saying "Start system fault".
