it does what its supposed to do which is seal a container however i returned mine because my setup didnt work right (drilling a hole for a hummingbird feeder tube and using with an upended bottle) had it been just  the stopper in the bottle it would not have leaked. the leak was due to the hummingbird feeder tube itself.
