**Q: How often should you apply this oil to a sword in order to keep in in good condition? Also, when using the oil should you be wiping it clean off?**
A: If you are using a sword in the rain I think rust should be the last of your worries.

**Q: Does it hurt wooden or laminate grips**
A: No it won't hurt the wood, but I would avoid getting it on the wood too much  because it will attract dirt and dust more and darken the wood.

**Q: can you use this on a bore snake for a stainless steel revolver?**
A: NO.

**Q: What cani use to remove the burn marks off of my 357 magnum tube magazine**
A: Have the same issues on the cylinder of my 44 mag.  Believe it or not the best thing I have found is just a good old pencil eraser.  The bigger pink ones work the best.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST rust-preventer for firearms AND hand tools!

Have used this stuff for years to lube and protect my firearms. Now that I'm living in the tropics (Puerto Rico--where I'm firearm-free) I use this to keep my handtools from rusting. I use Rem cloth, Hoppe's wipes, and sometimes just a few drops of Rem oil to protect all my handtools (wrenches, pliers, saws, etc) from the ever-present humidity here. Many tools (saws, especially) come with a coat of protective lubricant on them, but not always. WD-40 has its uses, but I much prefer Rem oil to protect my guns and my handtools from rust over the long term.
