Review: Great value at this price. - It's not a top of the range tool so probably wouldn't stand up to a lot of continuous abuse but it is capable non-the-less. I bought this as a nut cracker last christmas, not as a work tool as such, but I needed it recently for some emergency plumbing at home which it enabled me to do, so I'm very glad I bought it!

**Q: can it be used as a lock plier too?**
A: No. You need mole grips for that.

**Q: What is the maximum jaw opening**
A: Just over 4" or 85mm

**Q: Is the big one suitable for oil filters on a daily basis.**
A: It may work foil a car oil filter, but they are not specifically designed for this purpose. If I were going to be removing oil filters on a daily basis I would go for the proper tool for the job.

**Q: Can it be used for p-trap?**
A: Not really. The 250 mm ones are mainly for 15mm, 22mm fittings. 28mm at a push.
You would need the larger version, or ideally a pair of footprints. ( seriously. That is how they're known in the plumbing trade)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very useful tool

Bought this to remove very old tap valve from my leaking bathroom tap. Managed to do the job in minutes. Even though there are better quality pillars out there they cost much more than this. I'm only gonna use this very occasionally around the house as a DIYer and hence this is more than enough for my purposes and value for money. Hope this is helpful :)
