My tub still looks new after many years of use. It should help restore the shine but of course it does not have magical properties. **Q: Can you use it on tile countertops?** A: Yes if they are porcelain tile. I use it on a corian sink and it looks great. **Q: will this work on black porcelain** A: Yes it does. I bought it to polish my dull black porcelain kitchen sink. It didn't make it look perfect, but it sure looked a whole lot better than it did, and the more you use it, the better it looks, and the longer it holds its shine.
