Enter the Life & Limb gel pack.This sucker is life changing. Not only does it cover the areas for my infusion insertion sites, it perfectly covers my entire trunk (5’4”, 129 lbs) without cutting into me or being too bulky/large. It is so freaking comfy. The fact that it molds to shape is also great. This means there’s no extra added pressure on those needles and the velcro is SO easily adjustable; there’s no loops to run it through and it just stays comfortably in place. I can do my set up standing up and then relax and sit or lay down with ease for the duration. No readjusting or having to be extra careful about positioning. I tossed the gel packs in the freezer as soon as the box arrived and by infusion time, they were icy icy cold...and the best part - they stayed cold! And... y’all... I wasn’t soaked in condensation. Holy cow. Perfect thickness, whether for cold or warmth.For me, this is a BIG deal and it will definitely help to make infusions go smoooooth from now on. I have had chronic headaches & migraines most of my life and have not been able to find anything like it. Traditional ice packs give off too much condensation and don’t stay in place, and other gel packs are too solid to be comfortable or conform to my head before it gets warm. This wrap is extremely comfortable to wear (adjustable Velcro securement, not bulky, & has soft fleece) especially laying down, and I am able to align it to wherever my headache is. And I love that it comes with two gel packs—which just one maintains coldness for long enough for my headache meds to kick in or me to fall asleep. I haven’t used it for heat yet, but I have used a frozen gel pack to soothe other aches & pains, like a burn on my finger. Also, I learned that taking the gel packs out of the headband before tossing them in the freezer allows them to get as cold as possible! This purchase led me to buy other packs from the Life & Limb Gel store and recommend them to all my friends & family! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best I've found for headaches, other pains *by E***. on January 11, 2022* Best I've found for headaches + other minor pains.Just glad this came with 2 gel ice packs.Since they're lightweight (which is a huge plus) the trade off for the gel ice packs is they melt a bit more quickly. I have to rotate the gel packs so having the 2 is a must.Velcro works. Size is fine. Good price.
