Review: If you have a mesh network - If you have a mesh network, and you want Alexa to control these, set up a guest network first then procede ... It works like a charm and connects right away.. the lights are very responsive and the colors very rich.. Feit always produces a good product So its easy to install on mesh again if you create the guest network...if not. It will not connect as it will want to connect to 5GHZ
Review: These are so much fun! Great deal! - These are really great! I bought 3. Unfortunately 1 didn't work, so I exchanged it for another one which works great. These have so many fun features! Sometimes they may take an extra moment to sync up, but that's mostly dependent on your wifi. These need to be connected to a 2.4ghz connection to work. I will admit there was a little trial.and error to get them connected but now they work great. Nice and bright too, especially in warm/bright white and daylight mode too. I bought more for my automatic lights, and my kid's room.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the bulb have themes that you can set from the app? Like xmas colors? Holloween colors? 4th of july?**
A: It doesn’t have Pre-Set holiday themes but I e used google home “Routines” to change the colors and brightness of the bulbs during certain hours. For example: My porch light come in a sunset and turn off at sunrise with the feit app smart screen automation.
Then with a google home routine at 6pm my one light changes to red and the other green for Christmas lighting, and both set to 50% brightness. Then at midnight both lights are told to return to normal lighting as my decorations turn off.

**Q: Does this work with the smart things app?**
A: The app is SUPER BUGGY. No matter the number of bulbs YOU HAVE SET UP IN THE APP, the app does not consistently control these lights. I've had these lights for over three months and you never know from day to day which bulbs or groups you set up previously, will still be connected and be working. Super frustrating. Bulbs that worked last week don't connect to the app, no matter how much time you spend. I cannot imagine having more that 10 lights hooked up to this app. I have 8 and it's a nightmare.

**Q: Does this work with Wink hub 1?**
A: Sorry, no, this product does not work with Wink hub 1.

**Q: how many bulbs can the app control?**
A: It is recommended to use less then 30 bulbs/devices, but this number may vary depending on the router and internet speed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great smart coloring changing bulb!
*by K***E on October 13, 2025*

This was exactly what I was looking for. These light bulbs are for my front porch and I wanted something I could change colors with the holidays. I can also set a turn on and turn off schedule which is so nice. We are always forgetting to turn the porch lights on and then if we do we'd forget to turn them off. We bought two lights and one synced perfectly with bluetooth/wifi to an app on my phone. I gave a 4 star because the other one would not sync. We are returning that bulb and have ordered another one. I will update my review later. I love the colors I can choose and the ability to dim or brighten each color. There is also the option to have strobe effect which will be fun on Halloween night. Installation was easy for one but like I said, I couldn't get the other one to work.
