I wasn't sure he would be in to using it so I got it from the Used like new, saved 10 bucks, all it was missing was the Allen wrench that according to the instructions was included, but grandpa has a arsenal of tools and he took care of the 2 only screws that it has. It can be adjusted to two highs, in the video we have it to the lowest, we are hoping this trainer last until next year when he will start using ice skates because it will be very helpful for him and by then we will adjusted to the next height (around 6 inches higher) And im saying I hope it last because the metal looks like if left outside it will be destroyed by rust. Im hoping mom and dad puts it away. Assembling couldn't been more easy, just shake it a little bit to make sure both spring- loaded push botton parts click and locks, after that is sturdy and we felt it was safe. Overall this trainer was a hit, our grandson immediately gain confidence and wanted to use it chasing grandpa around. It would not be glide around so well on payment. **Q: Is the item portable? Would like to take it on the Subway with us.** A: Sort of. It doesn’t fold up, but it’s not that heavy. I flip it upside down and hang it by the crossbar on the handles of our stroller and that works pretty well **Q: Can an adult use it?** A: This product is adjustable in length but I don’t think it would be comfortable for a child over seven or eight years old to use.
