Review: They do work, 2nd purchase! - I had originally disliked this product, but after a little more patience, the product is doing what it's supposed to. I cut them up and placed in different areas. Near the sink, the trash can and near the litter boxes. I knew we had gnats, but didn't realize we had THAT many! Time of year or heat related but a lot more than I thought! I am repurchasing!

**Q: Does it catch bees? Or other beneficial insects?**
A: It definitely attracts and kills bees. Do not use on a fruit tree that is in bloom. I killed about 40 bees and only 1 fly after hanging it for an hour. I plan to wait until fruit is forming on my cherry tree before trying again.

**Q: Can this product be used indoors for flying gnats unrelated to plants?**
A: Yes, absolutely. Our basement was overrun by fungus gnats this summer, due to all the rain, I suppose. We have two fluorescent utility lights, that have the protective grid underneath the bulbs. I cut the traps in half, and stuck them to the top of the grid (underneath the bulbs). The secret was leaving the lights on 24/7. It was astounding how many gnats were caught every day, but I never saw one airborne after that. I also tried this with the newer LED utility lights, but the gnats ignored those.

**Q: What attractant do these traps use? Ammonium carbonate?**
A: None.  The bugs are attracted to the color.  The have a very sticky surface.  I quit using them when they trapped a bird.

**Q: Do these work to get rid of pre-existing aphids concentrations on the leaves of houseplants? Anyone? Thank you!**
A: Yes, I had problems with my outdoors plants that I brought in for the winter .... had gnats.  The yellow sticky traps help me with my problem.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smaller Pegs Than Expected, but Effective for Whiteflies and Small Garden Pests

I didn’t think much of these when I first got them. I expected the sticks to be much longer—closer to something you could use as a peg—so the size was a bit of a surprise. I also hadn’t used this type of sticky trap before, so I wasn’t expecting much going in. I picked these up mainly to deal with whiteflies and other small bugs around my garden. After putting them out, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well they’re working. I’m already seeing small insects collecting on them, which confirms they’re doing their job. They come with wire ties, which is how I mounted them to a trellis near the plants. That made placement easy and kept them positioned where insects are active. Setup overall is straightforward, and they’ve been easy to use. Overall: smaller sticks than expected, but effective for monitoring and reducing whiteflies and other small garden pests.
