Previously I have used halogen strip lamps that always made the bottoms of the cabinets very hot even when used for a short time. These stay cool even when left on for hours at a time.
Review: Almost perfect. - I'd been expecting to have to splice existing wiring to a junction box, as I have with other lights, but was pleasantly surprised to find these fitted the existing connector. The only negative is that the bracket for fixing under the cabinet is snug to say the least, and they don't have a recess for the supplied countersink screws. Therefore, the screws sit proud, making it hard to get the light to sit securely in the bracket. Brackets need a very slight redesign to make them deeper, or to be supplied with very flat headed screws.

The set of 4 enabled me to illuminate the work surface under 2 of our kitchen cabinets brightening what were 2 surfaces that were always too dark to work on comfortably. I chose the plug in type because I am unable to source replacement tiles for the ones that would have to be cut/broken if I tried to have them wired into the mains ring circuit on a spur. Previously I have used halogen strip lamps that always made the bottoms of the cabinets very hot even when used for a short time. These stay cool even when left on for hours at a time.
