I am not a medical professional and every body is different! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is NOT naturally derived agmatine - be advised *by A***3 on February 2, 2017* Agmatine has amazing potential as a supplement, but most of the stuff on the market is synthesized from putrescine, a toxic compound virtually impossible to remove all traces of that leaves a taste like sulfur and can upset the gut, plus it's contaminated with a byproduct of the systhesis process: agmacaine, also toxic and has undesired side fx (headaches, etc). This is true of all synthetic agmatine, some is much worse than others. This stuff isn't as bad as other bulk synthetic agmatine I've purchased, and I had previously mistaken it for the natural stuff bcuz it came up in a search. I realized my mistake when someone I gave it to got a headache. My original review stated this stuff was naturally derived, so I'm editing it to correct my mistake. I've never had a negative experience or report from the natural stuff. I would only intentially buy the Agmapure(TM) brand, the only brand of natural Agmatine derived from corn that I'm aware of and it was worth the extra $ to not take a "health" supplement with toxic byproducts in it. Though if you don't mind toxic byproducts in your stuff, this is better than some on the market. Not much putrescine taste/smell (hence why I didn't realize right away that I had mistaken it for the natural stuff), but seems to have the side fx associated with the presence of agmacaine. Don't judge all agmatine by this or any other synthetic agmatine, the naturally derived stuff is in a class of its own. Somehow seems to work better too. Sythetics may have the same chemical formula, but isomers and other structural properties can mean night/day difference in effects between synthetics vs. naturally derived molecules. Definitely best to natural with this one.
